Amy Maynard
Amy is an LICSW at Therapy for You. As a trained social worker and practicing therapist, I've worked with clients across the life span and with a vast spectrum of challenges. I previously worked in inpatient psychiatric care for adults, and currently work as a therapist for middle school children in a school-based health center. I truly believe the client is the expert of their experience, and I approach my work with clients as a supportive guide to help you work through life's struggles. My work experience has included helping clients manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship stress, grief/loss, and I am particularly passionate about women's issues. I have experience with CBT, DBT, ACT, and Narrative therapy, and will work with you to discover the most helpful approach. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals.
