As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that addresses both the mental and physical health needs of my patients. I am passionate about improving the quality of life for those facing depression, anxiety, grief, insomnia, and other mental health challenges. Through my experience working in a variety of psychiatric settings, including inpatient units and private practice, I have developed a holistic approach that combines effective medication management with therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual’s needs. I believe in building collaborative relationships with my patients, respecting their autonomy, and guiding them toward long-term wellness with the utmost care and integrity.

What should a new client know about working with you?
When you work with me, you can expect a collaborative, respectful, and empathetic approach to your mental health. My goal is to support you in improving your psychiatric well-being with a combination of medical management and therapeutic techniques that are specifically tailored to your unique needs. I value transparency in our partnership and encourage open communication about how you are feeling with your medications and treatments. Together, we will explore different therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral and humanistic therapies, to help you achieve your mental health goals. My priority is your comfort, safety, and long-term success.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
My process begins with a thorough initial consultation, during which I will take the time to understand your personal concerns, medical history, and past treatment experiences. I value the importance of a comprehensive assessment, including optional pharmacogenetic testing, to help tailor your medication regimen for optimal results. From there, we will set clear goals and expectations for our work together, building a strong rapport to ensure that you feel heard and supported. As we progress, I will regularly assess your progress, adjust medications as needed, and integrate appropriate therapeutic techniques to promote your well-being. My approach is flexible, patient-centered, and focused on achieving meaningful, long-lasting improvement in your mental health.
