Psychologist, PhD
Accepting clients Last Updated 1 days ago

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience including at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School and VA Boston Healthcare System. I have expertise in anxiety, OCD, and trauma-related conditions (e.g., PTSD) and extensive training in evidence-based psychotherapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Many of my clients come to me feeling very stuck in repetitive thoughts and uncomfortable emotions. They might have intrusive thoughts of bad things happening, worry about the future, or repetitive memories of past events. They find themselves feeling anxious, irritable, isolated, or ashamed much of the time. As humans, when we have these uncomfortable inner experiences, we do things to try to make them go away. Unfortunately, some of the things we do can then unintentionally cause us to disconnect from what we value most, like our relationships, hobbies, and interests.

I work together with my clients to explore all those inner experiences, understand what's working and what's not, and make changes so they can connect more with the things that matter most to them. Throughout this process, I am here to create a safe space grounded in compassion, authenticity, and flexibility in which my clients feel supported and empowered to work toward their unique goals. My clients often find that through our work together, they feel less stuck in their own head and more present, connected, and intentional in their lives.

If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to talk more on a free initial call about how I can help you in your journey.
