Sharon Tang
I have over two decades of experience providing psychotherapy with a focus on trauma, gender, and culture. Many of my clients identify as people of color, LGBTQIA+, and/or neurodivergent and are coping with discrimination, relationship issues, and/or a history of trauma.
I strive to integrate a social justice and anti-bias perspective in all my work. This means that I treat each client as an individual with different needs and do not simply apply the same protocol to everyone.
In addition to serving as a therapist, being an instructor at Oregon State University and a former trauma researcher helps me understand how to apply key psychology principles with sensitivity and stay current on new knowledge in the field.
