I love to work with students and young adults. Many of my clients face mood challenges (anxiety and/or depression), career questions, difficulties with relationships and/or the repercussions of early life trauma. Some are high achievers, but feel held back by self-esteem challenges or imposter syndrome. Others are in the process of individuating from their families of origin and benefit from guidance as they find their way in the world as adults. I have great empathy for the stresses of student life as well as a fundamental optimism in our ability to heal and become stronger and healthier with greater self-knowledge and support.
If you are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, shame, loneliness or want to better understand yourself, therapy can help. Do you feel stuck? Have you had difficult experiences in your past that are emotionally overwhelming? Have trouble sleeping? Are you hard on yourself? Feel guilt or shame? Overwhelmed? Irritable? Angry? Do you seek freedom and joy? If so, you don't have to work through these struggles alone. It would be my honor to support you. I believe our wounds are often the most beautiful parts of ourselves. Let me join you, as "Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter." I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you are safe to talk and feel. I draw upon humanistic, existential, and psychodynamic approaches to psychotherapy. I utilize EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness to help deepen processing. I use elements of positive psychology to empower your strengths while fostering growth and creating change. My hope is for you to feel seen, heard and accepted, no matter the experience or emotion. I am here to support you through your challenges with wholehearted compassion. If you feel like you could use a little more support, I'd love to work with you. It would be my honor to help you achieve your goals and live your best life.

Hi! I’m Brittany (she/her), Marriage and Family Therapist, and I am happy you’re here. I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, and families in and around the Bay Area for the last 7 years and have provided direct services to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds for nearly a decade in a variety of settings. I strive to create a safe space for children, teens, and young adults to process thoughts and feelings, develop insight, and learn healthy ways to cope. My therapy style is warm, engaging, and collaborative and I’m passionate about creating an authentic, supportive relationship that allows for growth. My philosophy is to seek to understand the whole person with genuine interest, care, and compassion. I use a tailored and integrative approach to help you reach your goals, combining a number of modalities including Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, Play Therapy & Expressive Arts, and Solution Focused Therapy. I provide client-centered and lead care that is culturally sensitive, trauma informed, and strength based. It is an honor to learn your story and walk alongside you as you seek to experience positive change and healing. My belief is that the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful tool. My intention is to give others a positive experience with therapy, from the first phone call to the end of treatment. Many of the people I work with are Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) who are struggling to navigate multiple areas of their life like work, school, family, relationships, or the intersectionalities of their identities. Many talk about often feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or stuck. This then kicks off to what feels like a never ending cycle of confusion, frustration, depression, and anxiety. Therapy is an opportunity to find clarity and work through these obstacles to help people get their life back on track. My clients and I work together to develop more mindful behaviors to help lead a more meaningful and healthy life. People develop certain attitudes and perspectives based on their early life experiences to survive when they were younger. But these attitudes and perspectives are not helping now which is part of the reason why people might feel stuck. By looking at these attitudes and perspectives closely, people can learn to change how they talk to themselves, how they react to their emotions. and take more thoughtful actions to move forward towards a more authentic and fulfilling life. My practice integrates several evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) that encompasses principles of person-centered, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, multiculturalism, and strength-based values. With my compassionate, collaborative, non-judgmental, and down-to-earth style, therapy can address the things that are getting in the way of people’s life so that they can move forward. COMMON EXPERIENCES THAT I WORK WITH PEOPLE ON: - It feels like your mind is playing tricks on you - It feels like your eyes or ears are playing tricks on you - It feels like something odd is going on or hard to explain - Confused at times whether something is real or imaginary - You feel suspicious or mistrustful of others - It feels like you have little control over your thoughts - It feels like others can hear your thoughts or read your mind - Having thoughts or beliefs that you or others find strange - Race-related identity, culture, and intersectionality - Cultural and systemic trauma and oppression
Feelings of stress, anxiety, depression, and grief are part of life, but when they begin to interfere with work or relationships, it may be time to connect and seek support. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, I spent four years working in PR within the entertainment and nonprofit industries. This experience gave me an understanding of the many stresses intense careers cause and the importance of developing coping skills, strong interpersonal communication, and emotional intelligence to maintain a healthy well-being and thrive in a fast-paced workplace. I am passionate about helping individuals struggling with eating disorders find recovery using a Health At Every Size/Intuitive Eating perspective. We will examine the underlying issues and maladaptive beliefs that perpetuate your eating disorder and work on healing your relationship with yourself. I work with young women, adolescents, and individuals to help them lessen their burdens and embrace their newfound freedom using a blend of theoretical orientations. I enjoy collaborating with my clients on what works best for them to help them meet their goals and am committed to creating an inclusive environment in my practice.
College can be an overwhelming time with academic pressure and navigating challenging personal and social situations. You don’t have to stay stuck in patterns or situations that aren’t working. If anxiety, depression, focus challenges, trauma, queer identity questions, or feeling disconnected are making college life harder, therapy can offer support in understanding what’s going on and finding more sustainable ways to feel calmer, clearer, and more able to manage daily life and relationships. In our work together, we’ll gently explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck and build awareness and skills that create more choice and flexibility in how you respond to stress, emotions, and relationships. We’ll pay attention not only to thoughts and feelings, but also to your body and nervous system, helping you feel more grounded and aligned with what matters most to you. Therapy with me is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect for your unique story. You won’t be judged or rushed, and we’ll move at a pace that feels safe, supportive, and responsive to your needs. You can expect a warm, respectful relationship; space to explore both present challenges and past experiences; and practical support for feeling safer in your body and more capable in daily life. There is room for difficult emotions, without pressure to “fix” everything right away. Whether you’re navigating daily overwhelm or seeking deeper healing, therapy can help you feel more connected and alive.
Sometimes it takes the gentle mirroring of another person to help see what is no longer working in our lives. Habits formed to survive difficult childhoods may be wrecking havoc. Communication styles may be sabotaging love. We may feel overwhelmed or face a big life transition. I work closely with my clients to increase skills. I love to teach about nervous system regulation and how you can stay calm and effective during conflict, difficult conversations, and life transitions. From therapy you’ll learn to operate from wholeness and authenticity, and gain acceptance for self/others. In addition to being a therapist, I formerly taught high school Seniors. I loved working with Seniors and helping them mark the transition from high school to college as their own unique rite of passage. I know this transition and college can be quite stressful and overwhelming. Together we can explore and discover more of who you are during this important developmental phase of life. I am passionate about helping people feel a greater sense of connection and meaning in their lives, and can utilize a variety of interventions and practices. My style is warm, direct, humorous, playful, curious, and empathetic. I offer a free 20 min consultation to ensure we are a good fit and to answer any questions. Feel free to reach out to schedule that. Some of my areas of expertise are trauma, OCD, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

Hello! I'm Liana Huang (she/her), and I’m a bilingual, bicultural (Cantonese and English speaking) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #119082). Growing up as the eldest daughter of Chinese immigrants who left their world in the Pearl River Delta to pursue a more abundant life for their descendants in San Francisco, I can relate to and understand the specific struggles of children of immigrants. It’s not easy navigating the unspoken pressure of repaying our parents for the sacrifices they made, the inevitable miscommunication and misunderstandings that arise as families bridge cultures and languages, and the persistent feeling of falling short of expectations. With a deep understanding of intergenerational trauma and family of origin attachment wounds, I offer a unique perspective to my clients as a therapist who has personally experienced the challenges of growing up with Asian immigrant parents. You won't have to explain what it's like to navigate cultural differences and complex family dynamics because I get it. I became a therapist because I recognize that cultural humility, while important, does not compare to the insights and empathy gained through lived experience. Together, we can work through your struggles and heal from the wounds of the past to create a brighter future. You're not alone in this journey towards healing and self-discovery.
College is a time of growth, change, and sometimes a lot of pressure. If you’re feeling depressed, anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or just not like yourself, therapy can help you create space to reflect, reset, and move forward with intention. We begin by building trust, so you can explore what’s coming up for you and build tools to feel more grounded and confident.

My name is Sheena Bergeron, LMFT. I specialize in trauma-focused therapy using different modalities including TFCBT, EMDR, and DBT. I have been drawn to working as a therapist and combining the desire to help with working with trauma. I have spent most of my career working with children in the CWS system through trauma-focused work. I am driven to continue this path of healing through seeing the changes that happen over time. I meet clients where they are in their therapeutic journey and will work with them to help reach their goals in a nurturing, but firm manner, challenging thoughts when needed. My therapeutic process includes collaboration with my clients in goal setting and the process of reaching those goals.
I am a cancer survivor, an active duty military spouse, and a child of grief after losing my father at a young age to addiction. Building resilience and fostering hope is not just something that I practice professionally, I have lived it. These experiences combined with my clinical background have given me a unique perspective on healing. I value the realness of showing up as yourself in and out of the therapy room. When I am not wearing my therapist “hat” you can find me at the movies, cuddled up on the couch with my two fur babies, or in the kitchen. I am a serious foodie, dog mama, bookworm, Bravo-binge-watcher, coffee fiend, and yes….I am a millennial. I love to paint, listen to 90s country, decorate for the holidays, and travel (when I can!).
