We also come from strengths based and person centered approaches to tackle the situations you might be facing.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist outside of Denver, CO. Most of my clinical experience has been treating eating disorders and other co-occurring addictive behaviors. However, individuals have come to me for a variety of concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, women’s issues (including perinatal mental health), spirituality issues, blended family issues, and life transitions.
I believe our world can be so fast-paced and suffers from a lack of presence. This can result in isolation, not feeling heard, or feelings of overwhelm and stress. If you need a place to set your burdens down for a moment, I am able to give you that support. I feel equipped to help you if you are struggling with any trauma, grief, attachment wounds, neurodiversity, career guidance, anxiety/depression, or men's/women's/general identity challenges. If you are feeling burdened or hurt, you are not alone. I encourage you to reach out to me. Even if we are not a good fit, I enjoy helping you to find a therapist who is!

My practice primarily serves LGBTQ+, queer, trans, and gender-expansive adults, alongside individuals navigating complex trauma, relational patterns, and perinatal mental health concerns. My clinical approach is supportive, affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in relational and attachment-based frameworks. I integrate an awareness of how systems of power, identity, and lived experience shape mental health, and I strive to hold both individual healing and broader context in view. I have specialized focus in complex trauma, including childhood trauma, relational trauma, and attachment wounds. Many of my clients are exploring identity development, processing experiences of minority stress, or seeking a therapeutic space where they can fully express their gender and sexual identities without needing to justify or defend them. I also provide affirming care for individuals during pregnancy, postpartum transitions, fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, and other reproductive experiences. I am particularly mindful of the unique emotional and systemic considerations that may arise for LGBTQ+ individuals and families during these periods. While no therapeutic space can be perfectly free from the impact of broader social forces, I am deeply committed to creating a therapy environment that feels brave, collaborative, and respectful. I engage in ongoing consultation, supervision, and continuing education to support culturally responsive and identity-affirming care. My work is guided by trauma-informed principles, a commitment to equity and inclusion, and respect for client autonomy and self-determination. I view therapy as a collaborative process where clients are supported in deepening self-understanding, strengthening resilience, and moving toward meaningful change.

I am passionate about helping clients navigate difficult transitions, using these challenges as catalysts for healing and growth. With over 25 years of experience in various therapeutic modalities, I provide client-centered and trauma-responsive therapy grounded in compassion and empathy. It is a privilege to guide clients in processing and integrating past and present experiences. Hi, I’m Rebecca! I’m a licensed therapist (LMFT), and I work with students who are navigating all the messy, beautiful, confusing parts of being human—especially during a time like college, when everything feels like it’s shifting. You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy. Maybe you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who you’re becoming, and that’s okay. It’s normal to want some support while you're figuring things out. In our work together, you’ll find a space that’s calm, non-judgmental, and focused on you. I use a mix of approaches—CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused work—but more than anything, I show up with compassion, curiosity, and respect for your pace and your story. I became a therapist because I know how powerful it can be to feel truly seen and heard. I bring my own love of creativity, deep listening, and belief in people’s resilience into the room with me. You don’t have to have the right words or a plan, just bring yourself. We’ll figure it out together.

I excell at helping people recognize and bring mindful curiosity to their internal and external experiences, so that they can identify their true selves’ values and goals, understand thoughts and emotions in a different way, and learn strategies to promote overall wellness, increase positive relationships and connections, and decrease distress. At the root of my work is my belief that by managing and tolerating uncomfortable emotions, we can live intentionally, in accordance with our value systems. Utilizing the Eastern traditions of mindfulness and the Western traditions of cognitive-behavior therapy, my goal is to help people view times of stress and transition as the unprecedented opportunities for growth that they actually present. My training and clinical expertise is focused on treatment of stress and transition, with specialized focus on anxiety disorders, body focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs including trichotillomania and excoriation disorder), and cognitive behavioral treatment of insomnia. I have a deep understanding of learning disorders and ad/hd and can often support my clients in navigating difficulties impacted by learning and attention. I currently work with individuals ages 18 and above, with a strong focus on supporting women and young adults. Please contact me and we can determine if I'm a good fit for your needs.

Hi! I’m Jenna, the therapist behind Gentle Minds Therapy (aka a professional over-thinker turned listener). I specialize in working with teens and young adults, because truly, those are some of the most confusing and challenging, yet exciting years of life. My approach is to keep things "human". I value making sure every session is a no-judgment zone and strive to make sure you feel understood and cared for. Even if what you need switches up week after week, we will tailor each session to what feels helpful to you!
Do you spend a lot of time thinking about or avoiding the past? Do you experience so much anxiety that it interferes with your life? Many of my clients come to me struggling with trauma, PTSD, anxiety disorders, and related issues. Others are frozen by depression. They may feel shame or guilt about what they’ve been through, or who they are today. I know that feeling can overwhelm you and make it hard just to get out of bed each day. I also know that with the right help, you can feel better. Once my clients are able to make peace with the past, they experience freedom and relief. They can actually start living again. When you’re ready to get started, I’ll meet you where you’re at. Once you feel safe, we’ll work on understanding and releasing the past. I use modalities to help with trauma and anxiety, including ART( Accelerated resolution therapy), EMDR, and Brainspotting. These approaches combine your mind and body experiences, to help you heal from the inside out. I provide secure teletherapy appointments, so you can relax at home. I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space, where you can be accepted and heard. My goal is to provide you with the tools and resources you need to live a more fulfilled life, finally free from the past. Visit my website or call for a consultation to get started.
