In many ways, it's a hard time to be a human being. Feelings of isolation, depression, anxiety, and directionlessness are all exceedingly common in our culture. Most of us are connected with very few people who can be role models and lead by example. Therapy can be a powerful force of change in your life if you are willing to look inside deeply and address what isn't working for you. Having a therapist who can guide this process for you is a gift. If you know the way you are showing up is not working for you, that's a great place to start therapy from. I am passionate about working with neurodivergence, relationship issues, spirituality, men's issues, and personal growth. I blend a warm presence with a direct, straight-up style of communication that helps you access what is going on inside of you and feel supported there. My approach blends Gestalt, IFS, mindfulness, humor, and radical self-responsibility. I would love to hear from you about what you are looking to get out of therapy. Call, text, or email to schedule a consultation call :)
Are you searching for Whole-Person Healing Rooted in Mindfulness, Energy, and Emotional Balance? I've created a space where people are gently guided back to their most authentic selves—a place where both light and shadow are honored. I believe healing isn’t linear, and there’s no “right” way to grow. This is a space where shame, guilt, and self-doubt can be released from the body, and where your full humanity is embraced. We will cultivate tools and insight to help you reconnect with your truth and rise into your highest self.

I was raised in a commune-style farm setting in rural Pennsylvania, and earned my BA from Middlebury College and then my MA in counseling psychology from Lesley College. I am currently pursuing her certificate in Modern Psychoanalysis at the Academy for Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis in Livingston, NJ. I am a mother of three and a longtime practitioner of yoga, meditation, and Jin Shin Jyutsu (Japanese acupressure). These practices inform my interest in the well-being of the whole person. I provide a safe and comfortable space where you can explore the parts of your life that you value and also the parts you may want to change. My approach is to cultivate a sense of curiosity and kindness while supporting you in saying whatever is on your mind. As we put our thoughts and feelings into words, we tend to grow more comfortable in ourselves, even in the midst of discomfort. We may find ourselves in more positive relationships at home, at school, and at work. We may find more clarity about how we want to live our lives. Whether in person or online, I see the therapeutic process as a catalyst for reflection, exploration, self-understanding, and personal growth. Together, we will work to understand the richness of who you are and resolve whatever is getting in the way of achieving your personal and professional goals.
If you're looking to heal past trauma, mend broken relationships, sort through major life transitions, or just get some general support, I am here to help. I believe that regardless of who you are, what you've done, or what you've been through, you deserve to feel good in your life, and you can feel good. Using the strengths you already have, and tools you may not yet have, together we will find a way forward. My clients say I have a calming presence, and that they feel seen, heard, and understood in sessions.
I have significant experience working with clients all over the world. I have worked with orphans in Mexico that were survivors of significant trauma and abuse and in Colombia with a group of displaced women, survivors of war. My therapeutic focus centers on the integration of the body and the mind in order to help my clients flourish. I am passionate about offering clients the opportunity to strengthen the gifts they have, and thrive. I work with college students from diverse backgrounds - those striving to bring their lives and their dreams together -- to help them achieve happy and healthy relationships. In addition to having extensive training in body psychotherapy, I have also trained in women's issues, EMDR, and domestic violence. I specialize in treating trauma and also anxiety, and obsessive compulsive disorder. I currently offer my services in both Spanish and English at my private practice.
My goal is to help you address the deep underlying issues that keep you stuck. At Foothills CBT, we offer evidence-based therapies that have been validated by extensive research studies. Our mission is to provide our community with life-changing psychological services for long-lasting emotional health and wellness. As a psychologist candidate, I have completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at CU Boulder (go Buffs!) and I am practicing under the supervision of Dr. Samantha Monk Grigsby while pursuing independent licensure. I believe that this human life is NOT easy, and is often full of pain! At the same time, I deeply believe that when equipped with the right tools, each individual has the potential to create a vibrant and personally meaningful life. I am passionate about empowering my clients to make the changes they wish to see in their day-to-day lives. I have been trained in a wide variety of empirically-supported treatments, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). I work with adult clients with a wide variety of presenting concerns, including anxiety or depressive disorders, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, and chronic pain. My style is warm, collaborative, and genuine. I teach clients skills to increase awareness of and create more helpful relationships with their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I also help clients learn to flexibly shift their attention at will; to build self-compassion; and to clarify personal values, solve problems, and move towards important goals. I would love to join your team. Please give our intake coordinator a call for more information, and let’s get started!
As a Stanford trained psychologist, I combine insight-oriented with skill-based therapy approaches to help young adults and adults with anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive symptoms find their way back to a fulfilling life. Do you feel sad and down for no apparent reason? Do you feel all alone and as though nobody understands you or sees your pain? Do you tend to overthink things? Do uncertainties of life scare you or do you feel like you need to control your environment to feel safe. You are not alone. Through my ability to read between the lines, I can see you and help you better understand yourself. We will work through subconscious challenges that interfere with your joy in life, growth, and path to healing. I also specialize in working with individuals and their family who struggle with the diagnosis of cancer or other medical conditions. I will help you find ways to cope with fear, loss and uncertainty related to your condition and make sense of your situation productively. Let's work together to help you thrive with your disease. PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT: In addition to therapy, I provide a variety of psychological assessment services, including mental health evaluations for adults in legal proceedings (civil and criminal); psychodiagnostic evaluations to inform treatment and clarify diagnostics; and neurocognitive assessments. Although college can be a time of excitement and exploration, it can also feel extreme and bring up feelings that can be challenging to sort out on our own. Having the right support can make all the difference. At In Bloom Psychotherapy we are here to support you on this journey exactly as you are, helping you find the tools and resources to provide some relief and a better understanding of yourself. Among other issues, we specialize in working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, relational issues, depression, college athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts. We incorporate body awareness and mindfulness into sessions because talk therapy alone may not be enough to shift old patterns and create new neural pathways in the brain. Some of our clinicians are trained in EMDR therapy and utilize approaches such as parts work, IFS, DBT, CBT, mindfulness and attachment theory. We know finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming and daunting. If something in this bio resonates with you, please reach out for a free twenty-minute phone consultation.
We are a collective of body- and mindfulness-based coaches and therapists. We offer body-based contemplative counseling, specifically focused on the nervous system; here-and-now awareness; and relationships to ourselves, others, and the natural world, to unwind old patterns from the bottom up, leading to more energy, empowerment, and intimacy. We each have our own specialties (such as PTSD treatment, imaginal work, couples therapy, etc.), yet we share a passion for helping you explore your inner world; integrate difficult experiences; and feel more healthy, whole, and nourished. Everyone needs support to deepen into our own experience, find regulation and groundedness, and open to showing up as more of ourselves in the world, with the strength and freedom to offer our gifts. We would love to accompany you on your journey!

In these difficult times, managing life's demands is often challenging. Anxiety, depression, and frustration may feel overwhelming and impossible to overcome. Seemingly obvious solutions often make it worse. For example, worrying about being anxious or avoiding anxiety arousing situations only increase the problem. However, there are effective coping strategies that help. I offer practical alternatives in a warm and supportive environment.

Have you been feeling stuck in your relationships, unsure how to speak up for what you really need? Do you find yourself caught between who you are and who you think you’re supposed to be? You deserve a space where you can explore what’s happening internally, with curiosity instead of judgment. As a therapist, I work with individuals and couples navigating trauma recovery, emotional disconnection, and relationship challenges. I have particular expertise supporting survivors of abuse, as well as individuals seeking to deepen their emotional awareness and honest communication skills. No matter where you are in your healing process, I foster a safe, welcoming environment where you can feel grounded and empowered to reclaim your voice.
I have over 10 years of experience working with hundreds of college-age clients from all walks of life. With my background as both a special education teacher and college and career counselor, I enjoy helping clients explore their identity, increase self-confidence and autonomy, and overcome fears (or whatever else is blocking them from living well). As a therapist, most of the clients I see experience OCD, anxiety, and neurodivergence. I tailor treatment to my clients’ individual needs and create a warm, supportive environment in sessions where they can truly be themselves without judgment.

At the heart of my work is the belief that progress begins with a strong, trusting relationship. I offer a client-centered approach that honors your unique experiences, values, and strengths. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process—it’s a collaborative journey where we work together to identify your goals, uncover patterns, and explore new perspectives. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply seeking greater clarity, my role is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. I see therapy as a team effort—you bring your expertise on your life, and I bring clinical knowledge, insight, and compassion. My goal is not to "fix" you, but to walk alongside you as we tap into your capacity for resilience and change. If you’re ready to begin this process, I’m here to meet you where you are.
