I am passionate working with LGBTQ and transgender clients, and I affirm my clients. I am a WAPTH GEI certified provider. You might know who are but need to process how to get there. Anxiety about whether your family, friends or work will accept you could consume you. It can become hard to sleep and hard to look in the mirror sometimes. You need to have the courage to be yourself in your own identity and overcome your anxiety. I can help. I use mindful self-compassion, solution focused therapy and CBT to practice the tools that will allow you to be who you really are and be calm and proud of yourself and happy. I work with the LGBTQIA community as an affirming therapist who understands the community. I specialize in working with transgender and non-binary clients as well as clients that are feeling overwhelmed and anxious about work, school, home or friends. I also write gender affirming hormone and surgery letters for my clients. As part of my practice, I offer expert and convenient care for my clients in person in Decatur, GA and video throughout Georgia and South Carolina and Florida. Welcome! My name is Joseé Muldrew. I am a proud Spelman Alumna and a graduate of Boston University. I'm passionate about helping college student and communities of color uncover their truths by identifying and processing the various life experiences that may have skewed and muddied their world view. I believe that every person deserves to experience unconditional love and self-acceptance, and that starts from within. As a therapist, I view myself as an advocate and supporter who walks alongside you on your journey. I hold up a figurative mirror that allows you to see everything that you are, while equipping you with the necessary tools to navigate life transitions, depression, anxiety, trauma, racial identity issues, and attachment issues, among other concerns. Individual therapy is a powerful, yet challenging process that requires trust and safety within the therapeutic relationship. I work to build a healthy rapport with my clients that empowers them to share their story and experience the healing they desire in a nonjudgmental environment. Through our work, you will move out of past limiting beliefs that have kept you stuck into new and adaptive ways of behaving and thinking that promote growth.

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Caroline (she/her) and I’m a therapist, avid reader, creative, reality TV enthusiast, and proud dog mom. I specialize in identity work, and provide queer- and trans-affirming care. I also work with folks navigating trauma, addiction, binge eating disorder, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD & more. My goal is always to cultivate a therapeutic relationship where you can show up fully and honestly, and feel deeply supported (because I am on your team!) We might work well together if you’re looking for someone empathic and laidback, who also challenges you. I invite you to get curious about how your lived experiences impact who you are and how you engage with the world. I also trust your innate wisdom as the expert of your own life. I believe that therapy is political and that we are all deeply impacted by the systems in which we exist. I receive weekly consultation regarding anti-racist and anti-oppressive therapeutic practices, and I seek to maintain a practice in which people of all identities do not simply feel tolerated, but feel deeply understood, accepted, and nurtured.

Hello and welcome! Life can feel like a lot sometimes. You might be feeling overwhelmed by academic pressure, anxiety or depression, questioning your path, navigating complicated relationships, or trying to hold it all together while everyone else seems to be thriving. College and student life can bring growth and independence, but also burnout, impostor syndrome, loneliness, and identity questions. You don’t have to navigate it alone. I specialize in working with students experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and family or relationship challenges. Many of the clients I work with are untangling complex family dynamics, healing from past experiences, or learning how to set boundaries while honoring their cultural or personal values. I also support neurodiverse clients, including those with ADHD and executive functioning challenges, and understand the stress that can come from masking or feeling misunderstood in academic spaces. My approach blends cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapy, meaning we’ll look at both present patterns and deeper roots. Together, we’ll build insight, strengthen coping skills, and help you develop a more supportive and realistic inner voice. Therapy with me is collaborative — we’ll reflect, challenge patterns, and even laugh when it fits. I am committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care for diverse clients, including BIPOC, neurodiverse, and LGBTQ+ individuals. If you’re exploring identity, belonging, or navigating systems that weren’t built with you in mind, that work is welcome here. I aim to create a space where you can show up as you are — warm, supportive, and real (not drive-thru mental health care). I am currently an Associate Professional Counselor (APC), working toward full licensure under the guidance of Lauren Vaughan-D'Angelo, LPC, CPCS. I provide virtual therapy for clients across Georgia, with evening and weekend availability. My standard rate is $125, and I accept select insurance plans as well as self-pay. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots to help keep therapy accessible and within reach. If you’re wondering whether we’re a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute phone “vibe check.”

As a therapist with more than 30 years of experience I know that investing in oneself takes time and effort but also that the outcome is well worth the commitment – YOU are worth the commitment. By working together to address issues related to trauma, mood (anxiety, depression, anger), LGBTQ+ identity, and/or life transitions we will work to create ways of thinking and acting that allow you to be the best version of you that you can be. Whether the issues to be addressed in therapy are relatively new or they have been with you since childhood, I can help you create the satisfying life you deserve. From our first interaction, you can expect me to be compassionate, empowering, open-minded, and empathetic. I will help you understand the ways in which your thought processes and behaviors interfere with your life and challenge you to incorporate healthier ways to cope. Together, we will create a space where you feel safe enough to be your authentic self. Please visit my website to understand more about how I would approach our work together or to read my blogs about topics commonly addressed in therapy. I would love to speak with you to determine if I am the right person to help you to address whatever interferes with your wellbeing. You are so deserving of a contented life – let me help you get there.

I am a Physician Assistant experienced in working in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. I diagnose and help patients to manage conditions including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, sleep issues, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and much more. Through medication management, I aspire to help my patients manage their conditions as best as possible by using the least amount of medication in order to manage their symptoms. I also am familiar with over-the-counter / naturopathic approaches to mental health and how using these vitamins as adjuncts to medication can often work synergistically with psychiatric meds. I know that medications aren’t always the only method to improve your mental health, so oftentimes I refer my patients to counseling and therapy too. Originally from the state of FL, I graduated from then University of FL with my bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies before earning my PA degree from the University of South Alabama in 2020. I was recently awarded a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Psychiatry by the NCCPA.

As human beings, we often find ourselves wanting more freedom, or perhaps wanting more purpose in our lives, or craving a sense of inner peace. Other times, we find ourselves caught up in difficult and challenging relationships in our personal lives or at work. Whether your life feels overwhelming or underwhelming, I believe that care and courage, along with some healthy curiosity can go a long way in helping you locate new possibilities and finding solutions that work for you. My process is not a one-size-fits-all affair. Indeed, the work we do together is unique to each and every individual I encounter and always begins with accepting you just as you are. Beginning the self-exploration of therapy is an act of courage. I respect your bravery by always providing a calm, warm, and nonjudgmental space to discuss and process your concerns. Together, we’ll collaborate in clarifying your goals, identifying effective strategies, and finding a path that will work for you.

I have experience working with adults and elderly who struggle with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, schizophrenia, bipolar, personality disorders, along with major life transitions and end-of-life decisions. My work with adolescents includes depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, school behavior concerns, and sexual identity. We will talk about negative thoughts and behaviors & learn techniques to alleviate the symptoms you are experiencing using play-, talk-, and/or art- therapy techniques. We will work together to achieve self-acceptance. I will provide a judgment free zone, with a feeling of safety, comfort, and an open mind. I often had difficulty expressing my feelings & my father taught me how to think critically, love unconditionally, never judge, and how to use other forms of self-expression, like art and writing. I was introduced to AA meetings & found comfort & safety to express my thoughts with my father’s life lessons & knew this was my path. I earned my BS in Psychology at Florida State University in 2015 and MS in Counseling with a concentration in mental health at NOVA Southeastern University in 2019. I am Trilingual (English/Spanish/French). I enjoy practicing self care through painting, dancing, singing, travelling, and binge watching TV shows with my husband & fur-baby, Maddy.
