Eating disorders leave us feeling out of control, insecure, and unfulfilled. You may be fed up with constant restriction, over eating, or both; feeling disconnected and self-conscious about your body; or overwhelmed with strong feelings and unsure of how to manage them. You might not even remember a time when it didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to heal your relationship with food. You’re ready to feel better in your own skin. Most of all, you’re ready to feel empowered and confident to take control of your life. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who treats the whole person, not just the eating disorder. Sessions with me are comfortable and interactive. Together, we increase mindfulness of the root cause of the eating disorder, assess your personal values and goals, and help you find fulfillment in the life you want to live. And we always go at your pace. As an experienced eating disorder therapist, I believe that everyone has the inner wisdom they need to heal. I can help you access it. You don’t have to continue living with the eating disorder, and you don’t have to do it alone. Call me today for a free consultation. I can’t wait to hear from you.

Needing space to figure out who you are & giving yourself permission to grow where you are planted is important. I assist individuals navigating issues concerning minority identity, immigrant values, parenting as a child of immigrants, cultural imposter syndrome, trauma, life transition and addressing mental health topics, including the associated shame and stigma. I have experience assisting numerous college & graduate students, including international students adjusting to life in the United States, particularly in demanding environments such as higher education. I am committed to assisting women who are considering pregnancy, managing fertility/ infertility issues, transitioning into motherhood, and dealing with domestic violence and sexual assault. I support adults dealing with relationship issues, career and life changes, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, as well as existential crisis. I employ Eclectic therapy, which adjusts to the individual needs of each patient based on their specific issues, treatment goals, and personal expectations and motivation. I specialize in therapeutic approach that recognizes and centers on understanding various types of traumatic experiences affecting individuals. Finding a therapist can be a challenging and overwhelming process. There may be times in one’s life when we experience emotional difficulties and need professional guidance to work through these issues. The focus of my sessions is to be approachable and to meet the needs of my clients. I am here to support you in your choices.
Hello! We are compassionate, driven providers who work with a diverse population of students. We specialize in treating anxiety, depression and life transitions, including parenthood!
Whether you're seeking help for adjusting to a recent change or looking to break free from difficulties that keep you from enjoying life, I'm here to offer you support and guidance through the process. My approach is tailored to each individual and often involves identifying strengths, building self confidence and self acceptance as well as challenging unhealthy beliefs and coping strategies. Asking for help is often very difficult, but greatly beneficial. I will offer you a new perspective and a direction towards self fulfillment and happiness. I work with adults with a focus on helping with anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transition and relationship difficulties. I have a particular interest in helping clients find purpose and meaning in life and fulfillment of their potential. Creating a non-judgmental space to help my clients feel comfortable and safe is very important. My clients have reported feeling more confident and able to take greater risks, become more productive and better able to cope with life's stressors and engage in healthier and more satisfying relationships.
My therapeutic approach centers around establishing a trusting and collaborative environment for clients to navigate their challenges. I am dedicated to providing a warm, inviting, and non-judgmental space, empowering individuals to confront obstacles and find peace and balance in their lives. I have experience working with adults coping with life stressors, adjustment to parenthood, recent medical diagnoses, anxiety, depression, OCD and trauma. My clinical training includes work in hospital settings, addiction research, and outpatient work. I have completed the International OCD Foundation's BTTI training for use of ERP with OCD diagnoses.
I hold a B. A. in English from Shanghai University and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Over the last 19 years, I interned and practiced at various inpatient and outpatient settings, including Mt. Sinai-Roosevelt Hospital in NYC, Mt. Sinai-Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC, Amherst College Counseling Center in Amherst, MA, and the Community Health Center of Franklin County in Greenfield, MA. My own cross-cultural and cross-lingual experiences continue to shape the way I work. My “ideal patient” often shares these essential characteristics with me: bilingualism/biculturalism; deep-seated values for family, language, and culture; experiences of migration and adversity; an appreciation for authenticity and openness; and an unyielding curiosity about the inner workings of their own minds and those of others. I look forward to working with you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and families through both school-based and clinical counseling settings. For several years, I have worked as a school adjustment counselor, helping students navigate academic stress, social challenges, emotional regulation, and mental health concerns. This role has allowed me to work closely with students, families, educators, and support staff to create practical strategies that help young people succeed both in and outside of the classroom. In addition to my work in schools, I have clinical experience providing individual therapy in outpatient mental health settings, supporting clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions. My approach integrates evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused strategies, and strengths-based counseling. I also bring a unique perspective through my experience coaching high school athletics, where I have seen firsthand the pressures that young athletes face—balancing performance expectations, academics, identity development, and social dynamics. This experience has shaped my passion for helping athletes develop mental resilience, confidence, and healthy coping skills. At the same time, my practice is open to any individual seeking support, whether they are navigating stress, relationship challenges, emotional struggles, or major life transitions. My goal is to provide a supportive, practical, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients can develop the tools they need to move forward with confidence.

I accept some insurances, out-of-network and self-pay. I am licensed in both MA and NH. I currently work with coming-of-age/young adults (18-35ish) with anxiety, depression, stress management challenges and big life changes (going to college, new moms, ending a relationship, etc). I have some flexibility outside this description on a case-by-case basis and would be happy to talk to see if we would be a good fit. Hello, some of my strengths include identifying and cultivating strengths in others, giving language to complex feelings, detangling complex issues and finding paths to wholeness. My goal in therapy is to support others to reach their personal goals and even help them identify what those may be if they are unsure. My ideal Patient is motivated to change and open to trying various techniques. I'm dual licensed in the States of Massachusetts and Illinois and provide only Teletherapy. I've been in clinical practice since 2013, yet have 20 years of experience through mentoring young adults. One of my strongest areas of expertise is healing from trauma, of all kinds. What I often find in practice are Patients unaware of neglect and abandonment that they have lived through. I support Patients in identifying pain, creating space to grieve and heal, and creating a new way to experience life alive.

I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in adolescence and young adulthood. I completed a fellowship at Mclean Hospital in Adolescent Mental Health. I was previously a psychologist at Mclean Hospital's Klarman Eating Disorders Center where I specialized in the care of individuals struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and associated concerns. I enjoy working collaboratively with a client, couple, or family to understand how someone's struggles relate to their larger goals, hopes, and motivations and how to work to understand their experiences together and move closer to those goals. I use approaches to therapy that focus on understanding the role and functions of emotions and behaviors, understanding someone's experience in the context of relationships, and utilizing strengths and competencies in the therapy process. In addition to individual therapy, I have a passion for working with couples, families, and in relationship based therapies. I also provide parent consultation for parents supporting their child or adult child through an eating disorder. Please reach out if you have any questions and would like to schedule a complementary initial phone consultation.
I provide a safe, non judgmental space for you to unpack your struggles. By using thoughtful questions, I aim to guide you in finding greater insight and more awareness into thoughts and patterns. The modality I most align with is mindfulness based CBT which focuses on identifying and challenging negative thinking patterns that lead to depression and anxiety. What makes my practice unique is my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and to support them in their personal growth. I'm attuned to the themes and blocks that often go unspoken, and I'm passionate about this work because I believe healing and self discovery are powerful tools for creating a better, more compassionate world.

At its core, therapy is about the people sitting in a room together (or often sitting on computers together), and that safety within the relationship is one of the most important aspects of finding a good fit. I am honored to create that space with you. As a therapist, I start with one basic assumption: you are the expert of your own experience. My hope is to empower people to better understand those experiences or to bring in additional perspectives that might shed more light on aspects of one’s life. Informed by my background in queer theory, feminist theory, and anti-racist ideologies, I work with my clients to identify the external structures of power impacting their lives, then engage with the areas of their lives within their control where they can make changes and achieve their goals. While many forms of therapy take from one another and blend together, I begin with trauma informed relational-focused work and draw heavily on DBT/CBT/mindfulness-based therapy modalities. I view therapeutic relationships as dynamic, and work to tailor the experience to my clients’ needs and preferences. Whether you are someone who likes sessions to feel more conversational, someone who appreciates tangible takeaways like worksheets, or someone who wants to spend time practicing skills in our sessions, we can work together to find a treatment plan that suits you.
