Starting therapy can be an exciting and daunting process. Working with a therapist allows you to have an unbiased third party listen to your story, validate your feelings and emotions and help foster and provide insight and support. Therapy can help you learn new strategies and techniques to help you better tolerate distress and view thoughts, feelings and situations differently. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where we can work together to identify and process issues you have been facing. Together we can reflect on previous thinking patterns and behaviors that have led to distress and discuss new options and possibilities.
I work with clients who feel stuck—whether that’s in their relationships, thoughts, careers, or life in general. My goal is to help you feel less stuck by providing collaborative, direct support focused on problem-solving and implementing lasting solutions. I believe therapy should help you gain insight into who you are at your core while also building the tools you need to face challenges with confidence. In our sessions, you’ll find a warm inviting space where I’ll be honest and hold you accountable to your goals. I aim to cultivate a healthy sense of challenge that encourages you to work toward meaningful change. My hope is that you’ll feel grounded and supported as we tackle life’s difficulties together.

Welcome. My intention in therapy is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. I bring curiosity, kindness, and genuine care into every session, and I honor you as the expert of your own life. My role is to be a steady guide and support as we explore what healing and growth can look like together. I draw on my experience supporting adults, adolescents, and families to help clients with anxiety, OCD, depression, and related concerns, using approaches such as ACT, ERP, and MBCT to tailor treatment. Sessions provide a supportive, trauma-informed, culturally responsive space for growth and change.
While I work with folks on a range of issues, I specialize in the treatment of disordered eating, eating disorders, body image disturbance, and disengagement from diet culture. I am a non-diet mental health clinician and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor practicing from within the Health at Every Size paradigm. Having lived experience of an eating disorder myself, I believe that full recovery is possible. I work with clients to establish trust in their bodies, and discover a relationship with food that is joyful and free. I look forward to connecting!
Hi there! I'm Maria, a licensed independent social worker in MA & RI. I have experiencing working with people all across the lifespan with anxiety and stress. I especially enjoy working with young adults as they navigate their own journeys into adulthood because, let's be honest, adulting is really freaking hard! My work focuses around helping you identify what you need to become independent and giving you the tools and supports to do so. I am currently accepting new virtual clients. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions. Insurances I accept: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Optum/United Healthcare, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim and Tufts (Point32). Welcome! I work with teens and adults in my West Concord office and via telehealth, including many high school students and young adults navigating major life transitions. I specialize in supporting members of the LGBTQ community, as well as parents and caregivers of children and adolescents. As a queer person and a parent, I bring lived experience that helps me connect with people across multiple communities and intersecting identities. Feelings are human, yet many of us learn to push them away. When we’ve been through difficult or traumatic experiences, we often develop protective parts of ourselves that guard us from vulnerable emotions and memories. In therapy, we can explore where troubling feelings or patterns originate and develop more compassionate ways to care for ourselves. My style is direct and open. I bring compassion, humor, genuine curiosity, and a sense of shared humanity to the therapeutic relationship. If you think I might be a good fit for you, please reach out to schedule a phone consultation. I look forward to connecting with you.

Life can be overwhelming. There are many things to address, or things we want to work on, but we often don’t know where to start. You don’t have to figure out it all out overnight. You don’t have to feel ashamed for being where you are. All you have to focus on is one small thing you can do today to get closer to where you want to be in life. Slowly, one step at a time, you can get there. That one step could be reaching out to a therapist to have non-judgmental support through this process. This is where I can help. I provide a therapeutic space to explore struggles in a relaxed manner. You take the lead, I am a supporting role. I offer different perspectives, brainstorming ideas, coping strategies, & practicing what you want to improve. Working for almost 10 yrs. has trained me in numerous styles of therapy, so I think outside the box & pull from various strategies to help you find the right tools for your situation. Online Only. I am able to work with issues related to: grief/loss, depression, anxiety, caregiver/parent support, relationships, trauma, and life changes. If you're interested in seeing if I'm a good fit for your needs, & would like to start your therapy journey, please reach out via email. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) specializing in self-esteem, body image, and eating disorder treatment. I have experience supporting children, adolescents and adults in residential, day treatment and outpatient settings. I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens and incorporate evidence-based treatments such as DBT, CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. I am passionate about supporting adolescents and adults at all stages of eating disorder recovery.
I hold a B. A. in English from Shanghai University and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Over the last 19 years, I interned and practiced at various inpatient and outpatient settings, including Mt. Sinai-Roosevelt Hospital in NYC, Mt. Sinai-Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC, Amherst College Counseling Center in Amherst, MA, and the Community Health Center of Franklin County in Greenfield, MA. My own cross-cultural and cross-lingual experiences continue to shape the way I work. My “ideal patient” often shares these essential characteristics with me: bilingualism/biculturalism; deep-seated values for family, language, and culture; experiences of migration and adversity; an appreciation for authenticity and openness; and an unyielding curiosity about the inner workings of their own minds and those of others. I look forward to working with you!
Thank you for stopping by! I'm Jenn! College is an incredible time where we are gaining independence and working towards our next phase of life while figuring out where we belong, what our next steps will be, and hopefully having some fun while we do it! My passion is working with young adults in helping them to better understand themselves, figure out where they want to go next, and navigate a new world of responsibility. As someone who spent 4 years in undergrad and 3 years in grad school myself, I know how hard it can be to be away from home, trying to figure out where you fit in both on campus and in the world as whole. Mental health needs don't stop because we've got work to do... in fact, they can feel much worse when accompanied by the additional demands of being a college student, being away from home, and not wanting to let your family down. Whether you could use some help deciding on a career path, adjusting to the change from high school to college, or are struggling with low self-esteem, lack of confidence, anxiety, stress, or relationship issues, I will work collaboratively with you, building on your strengths and what is important to you while helping to guide you towards the goals you would like to achieve, even if you're not quite sure what those goals are just yet!
I am a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a deep commitment to helping individuals and families navigate their challenges. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Worcester State University, where I also minored in Sociology and focused on mental health and women's studies. Following that, I earned a Master's in Forensic and Investigative Psychology from the University of Liverpool. From the very beginning of my career, I discovered my passion for working with families and children. I believe in creating warm and supportive environments where everyone feels safe and valued. This dedication inspired me to pursue a Master's in Social Work from Anna Maria College, allowing me to better serve the community that is close to my heart. I have had the privilege to work across various settings, including residential care, intensive in-home support, schools, and outpatient services, which has enriched my understanding of the diverse needs of families and children. In my sessions, I strive to foster a nurturing and compassionate space where clients can feel understood and empowered to pursue their goals. I use a strength-based approach, offering encouragement and support to help clients along their journey. I believe it is essential for clients to be at the heart of the treatment process, actively participating in setting their own goals. This ensures that their voices are not only heard but truly valued in every session. Together, we can embark on a transformative journey towards healing and personal growth. Clients can expect that they will be heard and respected in sessions, and that their goals and dreams are a priority. Through this process, they will be validated and supported in helping them reach their full potential.
