I am certified in treatment for ARFID The most important part of therapy is the connection the therapist has with their client, which is something I prioritize. While therapy can be challenging, as we begin to truly look in the mirror it can also be a place of connection and trust. There is a great power in having someone to talk to and work through life with. I am here to help you in whatever way I can, whether that means a listening ear, a safe place to cry, or working towards your goals.
I specialize in helping high achievers learn to reduce their stress, regain their confidence, and improve their relationships, so they can succeed at what matters most to them. I recognize that finding a therapist can feel daunting and that asking for help is not always easy. I want to acknowledge this first step of looking at profiles and encourage you to take the time to find someone that feels like a good fit for you. If we work together, my goal is to provide a non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported; we will also work together to identify goals and steps towards meaningful change that feel aligned with your life and your beliefs. Over the past 8 years I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds with a broad range of needs and expectations. My work primarily focuses on supporting clients experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am also passionate about helping people set boundaries in their relationships, advocate for themselves, build self-confidence, and commit to realistic self-care. I am mindful of the importance of context, including systemic barriers, cultural norms, and the dynamic nature of the counseling relationship itself in order to identify the best approach for you as an individual. I center my work with clients, irrespective of age and experience, on the belief that fundamentally every one of us is doing the best we can at any given moment. I strive to create the space necessary to move through what feels, and can be, unbearable, and move forward with hope and intention. I am currently accepting new clients via telehealth. Please reach out if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing if we could be a good fit to work together!

Maybe what aches most is not the change itself, but the fear that someone you love is slipping out of reach — even if that someone is you. Everything feels different, yet somehow the same. One minute you are putting on pajamas, and the next you are spiraling because it is the first moment of quiet you have had all day. There is this gut feeling that your heart can no longer be bound with band-aids, but soul-searching is a lot before the alarm goes off tomorrow. You do not have to make sense of it all alone at midnight — that is what I am here for. I support clients ages 13–30s through this season of becoming — identity, relationships, independence, pressure, purpose, and transition. With evidence-based care and expressive arts, we use guided reflection, practical strategies, and creative exploration to turn overwhelm into clarity, awaken new direction, and find the light at the end of the tunnel. There is no perfect place to begin. Arrive as you are! I offer virtual therapy sessions for clients located in California, Indiana, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. I am available for a free 15-minute phone consultation, and I invite you to reach out. I look forward to connecting.

College is an exciting time though it can be an overwhelming one as well. College comes with its own unique set of challenges - increased workload, the need for greater time management, increased independence, and trying to find a good work-life balance, to name a few. College life can bring on new anxiety or exacerbate pre-existing anxiety, and managing this and coping in healthy and effective ways can prove difficult at times. Anxiety and stress can also trigger new or worsen pre-existing Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), like Excoriation Disorder (skin picking) and Trichotillomania (hair pulling). If you are a female student struggling with anxiety and need help managing it, and/or are having a difficult time with BFRBs, I would love to work with you. Together we will work on identifying stressors/triggers as well as strategies and skills you can use to better manage your anxiety and/or your BFRB. I look forward to meeting you!
