We were formed by Harvard-trained psychologists with expertise in anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.

Therapy helps people explore and experience both rough and celebrating moments, and I am with clients through this journey. My practice centers around creating a safe, non-judgmental space where anyone can reconnect with their inner strengths, as well as using skills from evidence-based practices. Through my experience of working with people from different backgrounds, I've developed deep trust in each individual's capacity for growth and self-direction. My work focuses on helping clients uncover their authentic motivations and cultivate confidence in their decision-making abilities. As an individual who comes from a different cultural and language background, I was able to connect with many who have similar struggles. I provide therapy to people aged from 13 to 40, using person-centered therapy paired with CBT/DBT, in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
**Currently accepting clients for Summer 2024 as of May 2024!** I work with students on all major non-emergent concerns, but I am particularly passionate about concerns around identity development. This is a broad area and includes working through gender or sexuality, what you want to "do" with your life in terms of career or relationships, how you might change patterns you see in your life to be more in alignment with the person you'd like to be, and more. I work with neurodivergent students to better set up their lives to meet their needs. Students might come in to discuss depression, anxiety, drug or alcohol use, or relationships with friends, family, or intimate partners. My goal is always to create a creative and safe environment for you to come closer to achieving what you have set out for yourself. My approach is collaborative and client-centered. I aim to be affirming of all races, sexes and genders, body sizes, religions, and more, with the understanding that I cannot be an expert in lived experiences that are not my own. We also offer adult family therapy, recognizing that family dynamics can play a significant role in a college student's well-being. Our family therapy sessions provide a safe space to explore and resolve familial conflicts, improve communication with parents and siblings, and foster a supportive environment for personal growth and development. To enhance accessibility and flexibility, we offer both in-office and telehealth services. We understand that college schedules can be demanding and unpredictable, so our telehealth option allows students to receive therapy conveniently from their dorms, apartments, or any private space. College can feel like a mix of excitement and pressure all at once. Between academics, relationships, figuring out who you are, and trying to keep up with everything, it’s really easy to feel overwhelmed, anxious, or like you’re just barely holding it together. In therapy, I try to create a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. We slow things down, make sense of what’s going on, and work together to find ways to feel more grounded and more like yourself again. I really believe people already have strengths in them, even if it doesn’t feel accessible in the moment. My job is to help you reconnect with those strengths and figure out how to use them in real life, especially during stressful or confusing seasons. I work with college students and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma, and big life transitions. I use approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and body-based (somatic) work to help you understand what you’re feeling and actually shift it in a practical, supportive way. My fee for a 50-minute session is $180. I also offer a limited number of sliding scale spots ($90–$100) to help make therapy more accessible.

I specialize in the treatment of complex trauma, a condition resulting from early and repeated exposure to neglect and abuse on the part of caregivers. I strive to create a space with clients where safety, in the context of a therapeutic relationship, can be experienced in order to promote recovery. I bring an awareness of the body and its various forms of communication into treatment, while also listening for layered meanings contained in the spoken word. I integrate psychodynamic principles and body-based approaches into my work. Social justice, equity, and cultural issues also significantly guide my clinical approach.

I will help you to see your struggles in a new way and ultimately you will feel better. You very likely will feel stronger and more confident too. I can't wait to work with you. Please note that I offer a concierge billing service for my clients who request reimbursement from their insurance plan with Out of Network Benefits. I will submit the paperwork to your insurance directly without you having to life a finger! The check will be sent directly to you. Doing the paperwork is an added stressor and I take that off your plate. My client often get 50% to 80% of my fee reimbursed to them.

Therapy offers a dedicated space to identify, understand and eventually transform painful experiences that have lead to suffering and frustration. My approach is warm and engaged. I have experience working in varied settings (inpatient units, partial programs, and community clinics) and with adults from all walks of life many of whom have lived through various traumatic experiences. I particularly enjoy working with graduate students and first gen college students navigating life transitions. My passion is working with people who are beginning to realize they feel exhausted and overwhelmed, and think it may be because of patterns of people-pleasing and perfectionism. They are beginning to realize that their drive to be high-achieving might be fueled by low self-esteem. They are performing well in many aspects of life, but they still don’t feel good enough. I also have a passion for working with adult children of emotionally dysfunctional families, who realize that current relationship stress may stem from the stressful family environment they grew up in.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey. My style includes creating a warm space for my clients to work through difficult issues. I think it's okay to laugh and/or cry when you're managing stress and mental health needs. You can expect a responsive experience where you can explore ways to improve your quality of life. I have extensive experience working with young adults, college and graduate students concerning life transitions, anxiety, depression, family and relationship issues and self identity concerns. I work closely with individuals to support them in managing their personal, family and academic challenges. I use an empathic, coaching style improving mood, executive functioning, work/life balance and their interpersonal relationship skills. At this time, all counseling is being done via teletherapy.
