With warmth, curiosity, and a touch of humor, I offer a supportive, judgment-free space where you can feel truly heard. As a former student-athlete at the University of Pennsylvania, I understand the weight of high expectations and draw on that experience to help clients build confidence, resilience, and inner calm. I love working with young adults in college and beyond navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, and making career decisions. My integrative approach combines psychodynamic therapy, CBT, IFS, ACT and mindfulness to meet each person’s unique needs. Grounded by time in nature and meaningful connection, I’m here to support your growth into a version of yourself you feel proud of.

Hi! Are you struggling with your mental health, identity, or relationships? College can be an overwhelming time – whether you’re adjusting to the coursework and living on your own, having challenges with friends or partners, or exploring who you are and who want to be. Therapy can serve as a tool to help you gain insight on your experiences, understand what you need, and learn strategies to manage your daily life. I’m a psychologist with 5+ years of experience in college counseling prior to starting my own practice. I have worked with students with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, sexual and relationship-based trauma, as well as those who are exploring their sexuality and/or gender identity. I welcome clients of all cultural backgrounds and provide LGBTQ+ affirming therapy. Fee free to reach out for a free 15-20 minute phone consultation to discuss what you're looking for and see if I might be a good therapist for you!

Finding calm and clarity when your mind won’t slow down is possible. I can guide the way. We have more influence over our thoughts than we realize. In our work, you’ll learn to approach your thinking more intentionally. As your thoughts change, you’ll start to notice changes in how you feel, the choices you make, and how you move through your life. I help clients slow things down, make sense of what’s been difficult, and address the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. This often includes working through anxiety, depression, and the impact of trauma and past experiences. I also support women navigating life transitions, helping them feel more grounded and steady through change. My approach is thoughtful and practical, combining insight with tools you can use in your day-to-day life.

We get so many messages in our lives about what is expected and how we "should" be living; social media, friends, and culture can all provide an idea of what we should be reaching for, which can often feel confusing and frustrating. If we grow up with dysfunction and trauma, it can seem even more confusing. We struggle with these expectations and somehow still feel we are coming up short. It can become an exhausting pursuit! It gets harder and harder to listen to our own voice, and what our needs are. I am drawn to helping people who have dealt with trauma and feel persistent isolation and sadness in their daily lives. Together, we can try to look at things a different way, and navigate a different path. Let's explore together, like astronauts! By gaining perspective, we can find opportunities for strength and agency in our everyday lives. By connecting to new support, we can make our own space to think about things we didn't know were possible. My goal is to create a safe space for exploration and support you on this path. Making the first step can be intimidating, but we can also go to new places. Contact me to setup a free consultation call to figure out how we can move forward together.

We all experience some distress or discomfort that can prevent us from feeling content and enjoying all that life has to offer. We're often stuck in patterned behaviors, thoughts, feelings, and relationships that only increases our distress and prevents us from being able to move forward. I provide person-centered and strength-based therapy tailored to the needs of the individual. I specialize in CBT, ACT, interpersonal therapy, trauma informed methods, and motivational interviewing. I work well with people experiencing anxiety or depression, struggling with transitions in life, or have experienced trauma. I create a nurturing and supportive environment for you to express yourself to be able to create a balanced and fulfilling life. I believe that everyone has the capacity to change. Hello! I’m Rachel, and welcome to therapy! If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, therapy can be a space to better understand what you're going through and begin creating meaningful change. I’m a queer psychotherapist trained in clinical social work and trauma-informed care. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ clients and also welcome individuals of all identities who are navigating identity exploration, depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma including CPTSD/PTSD, and more. Also, I offer ketamine integration therapy. I have additional experience working with college students and young adults, and understand the joys and challenges that come with this phase of life. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s needs. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood so we can explore what’s bringing you to therapy and work toward meaningful change. Together, we may focus on understanding patterns in your thoughts and relationships, processing difficult (and happy!) experiences, and developing tools that help you move through life with greater clarity and resilience.

Is anxiety taking over your life—leaving you overwhelmed, on edge, or stuck in your head? When anxiety is constant, it can feel impossible to stay present, manage emotions, or maintain healthy relationships. You might find yourself overthinking everything, struggling with panic attacks, and feeling exhausted from trying to keep it together. Anxiety can make you feel helpless and hopeless, but it doesn't have to be that way. I help people who feel consumed by anxiety and the emotional toll it takes. Using a mix of DBT, CBT, and grounding techniques, I’ll help you learn how to calm your mind and navigate intense feelings. Together, we'll work toward helping you feel more confident, less anxious, and more connected to the life you want to live.

I work with individuals who are curious to pursue change - whether this be by reflecting on obstacles, with a specific goal in mind, or simply because something feels as if it is not "working" for them. One does not have to be 100% motivated to use therapy well, instead, s/he/they can come to sessions with any sense of willingness to explore.

I received a B.S. in Psychology at Northeastern University and M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at NYU. I further honed my skills through rigorous training. I have experience working with individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and diagnoses experiencing issues around trauma, race, gender, sexuality, depression, anxiety, and more. I tailor my approach to suit the unique needs of each client. By integrating techniques such as CBT, trauma-informed therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, I aim to empower clients in their journey toward self-discovery and resilience.
