My background includes a graduate degree (Master of Science) in clinical psychology, with a license in Florida and New York to practice psychotherapy. My background also includes serving as a director for various residential programs, functioning as a consultant for clinical programming, performing managed-care utilization review, and years providing psychotherapy to those seeking healing in outpatient agencies, inpatient settings, shelters, within schools, and group homes, using techniques from my training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative Therapy. With over nineteen years of practice in the field of mental health and substance use treatment, I draw from my experience and clinical training to create a safe and collaborative space for supportive guidance, healing, and transformation. College asks a lot of you. Perform, achieve, figure out who you are, all at the same time, often while managing anxiety, pressure, and expectations that never seem to let up. If that sounds familiar, you're not alone and you're not broken. I'm a therapist who works with college students and young adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, identity, and athletic pressure. As a former athlete myself, I have a particular understanding of what it's like to tie your sense of worth to performance, and what it takes to untangle that. My approach draws on neuroscience and the mind-body connection, so we don't just talk about what's happening. We actually work to change it. This is a space where you don't have to have it figured out. You just have to show up. Fun Fact I'm a former athlete who discovered that the mental side of performance is where the real work happens. That realization is a big part of why I became a therapist.

I believe in a personalized approach that meets you where you are in your life. I incorporate a variety of different styles and techniques depending on what is going on in your life and what you need. In the initial sessions, you can expect me to get to know you and what is going on in your life. Known for being thoughtful and understanding, I ask questions to spark reflection and help you gain insights. Establishing a solid connection is essential; I aim to create a space where you feel at ease, understood, and never pressured to share anything until you're ready. My work is rooted in cultural humility, inclusivity, and trauma-informed care. I am committed to affirming LGBTQ+ identities, honoring neurodivergence, and understanding how race, culture, gender, class, and ability shape each person’s unique experience.

I have been working as a mental health therapist for more than 5 years, treating adults through bouts of depression, anxiety, trauma, transitions, divorces, times of grief and uncertainty. I truly value the therapeutic space and strive for you to feel welcomed and comforted within each session. It is something that will help you to navigate those difficult days and improve your ability to navigate life in a healthier way. Doreen Germosen
My goal is always to help my client in the way that they understand and teach them how to be independent from my care to grow into the life changes that they desire. I am a therapist who focuses on understanding. Each person that I work with is a story. Being able to understand the person through their eyes is the guide that moves us towards why they need help and how I can help them. My therapeutic style is to find ways to get to know who I am speaking to and who they want to become with my support. The years that I have spent working with various people in various locations makes me feel comfortable in saying that I am able to know who my client is and am able to prove to them that I do and want to understand. My therapeutic successes have been achieved in using strategies from modalities that focus on behavior modifications and changes, insight orientation, person centered, and short-term treatments. I am a therapist at Octave, a behavioral health practice creating a new standard for mental health care that’s both high-quality and accessible. I support clients navigating relationships, life transitions, belonging, and spiritual experiences with a warm, curious, and collaborative approach. Blending humor, empathy, and respect for your story, we explore anxiety, depression, and everyday challenges in ways that feel authentic to you. Using an eclectic mix of CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing, I help clients build resilience, self-advocacy, and clarity—whether you’re facing a challenge or simply seeking deeper self-understanding.
Sydney Morris
I believe in your ability to grow, change, and heal even in incredibly difficult circumstances. I create a supportive and validating environment, while also challenging my clients to consider different perspectives. I bring a trauma informed, strengths-based, and client-centered approach to my work with clients. I specialize in relationships, whether they are romantic, platonic, familial, professional. I also help clients develop better relationships with themselves. I work with clients to establish boundaries, determine priorities, develop greater self compassion, and align their actions with their values. Some sessions may feel free flowing and philosophical–for example, exploring the ethics of non-monogamy, the impact of diagnosis on identity, or the current political climate. Other sessions may feel more goal oriented and structured. I often suggest readings to clients, which we process and unpack in session together. I offer concrete coping skills to manage life's challenges and help clients create sustainable changes. Beginning therapy can be intimidating, so be proud of yourself for even considering it. Feel free to reach out and schedule a free 15 consultation call if you feel ready to begin this process together.
Danielle Berg, LMHC
Before becoming a therapist, I was a college professor. My favorite part of the job was supporting students who were going through it, whether because of the transition of becoming a college student, or because they were experiencing mental health challenges for the first time--or a worsening of symptoms. I love working with clients who are dealing with perfectionism, people-pleasing/boundary setting, communication challenges (with family, roommates, friends, partners), general anxiety, social anxiety, depression, and OCD. I also have a lot of experience and passion working with clients navigating gender and sexuality, including being on the ace/aro spectrums.
June Cohen
If you’re looking for a therapist who shows up like a regular person, and not a blank slate, look no further. In this room, you won’t get a lot of blank “I see” or “Ahh.” Instead, you’ll have a therapist who is warm, empathetic, and (most importantly) FUNNY. I aim to make the therapy room a space where you can show up exactly as you are. That is, authentically you, whatever that looks like on any given day. We can make space to laugh, to cry, to feel what it is you need to feel in order to help you grow into the you that you want to be. I want this relationship to feel collaborative and within your boundaries. If something we’re doing isn’t working for you, tell me and let’s work together to find something that works for you!

Alexandra Mott
I draw from many modalities including Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Solution-focused, and Psychodynamic theories. I am a strong believer that many people repeat patterns with details such as the characters, settings, and storyline changing while the deep-rooted emotional needs remain unresolved. I often explore themes that arise in session and encourage the insights we can collaboratively glean from this. We will also actively restructure thoughts, process emotions, and set short-term goals for behavioral change. I approach the therapeutic alliance with curiosity, humor, and openness and hope you may be willing to do the same! I'm a therapist with Octave and Evernorth Behavioral Care Group. Octave is a mental health practice providing high-quality care covered by multiple insurances. Evernorth Behavioral Care Group is a behavioral health provider group in-network with Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth. For my availability, please reach out to Octave’s team by emailing or calling.
