College can be one of the most exciting times in your life: but it can also bring a lot of pressure. Between classes, deadlines, part time jobs, and planning for the future, it is easy to feel overwhelmed. If you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trouble concentrating, mood swings, or just not feeling like yourself, you are not alone—and you don’t have to push through it without support. I’m a provider with extensive experience treating adults 18+ across a wide range of mental health conditions. Over the years, I’ve worked in some of New York City’s leading hospitals, including Mount Sinai’s Main Campus, Mount Sinai Beth Israel, Queens Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital, and Bronx Lebanon Hospital. I’ve provided care in emergency psychiatric settings (CPEP), inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and through telepsychiatry—giving me a deep understanding of both urgent and long-term mental health needs. My current focus is medication management, tailored specifically to your unique symptoms and goals. Whether you’re struggling with focus, managing your mood, dealing with panic attacks, or just trying to function under the weight of constant stress, I’ll work with you to find a treatment plan that fits—and actually helps. To make care more accessible, I offer flexible evening and weekend appointments, so your mental health doesn’t have to take a back seat to everything else on your plate. With a South Asian background and fluency in Urdu/Hindi, I deeply understand the cultural stigma and access challenges many patients face. This insight informs my compassionate, individualized, evidence-based approach, especially for complex cases.

I am a therapist-in-training providing sliding scale therapy under the supervision of Jessenia until May 2026. I am a first-generation Latina- I speak Spanish and English fluently. I have experience in a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic with young adults, elders, and adolescents. I am a firm believer that our identities are essential in understanding our life experiences and should be considered in a therapeutic relationship. I also consider the importance of intergenerational trauma- understanding we are carriers of past generational trauma. Along with societal barriers that directly affect our life experiences. Who we are now is influenced by our identities, life experience, and generational trauma. My approach includes the importance of identities and focuses on creating a safe, non-judgmental space. I guide with curiosity and empathy to welcome your feelings, thoughts, and life experiences. In our therapeutic relationship, I focus on understanding the interconnectedness of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I also explore past life experiences and recognize its influence in personality, behavior, and/or interpersonal relationships. Together, we will explore, process, and heal to overcome internal barriers.

Let's address your anxiety and high stress, or improve low energy and motivation while you achieve your goals. I support and hold space for my clients as they find balance between mental wellness and their busy lives. Life's unexpected transitions can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and disconnected from yourself. Whether you're facing a change you didn't choose or sensing that something needs to shift, you might feel burdened by fears about the future, isolated in your experience, or simply unlike yourself. If you're ready to feel less alone in this and more emotionally grounded, I'd be honored to support you.

Therapy can deepen your capacity for love, trust, and connection — with yourself and with others. I’ve seen it ease depression, anxiety, and shame; strengthen self-esteem; and help people become more resilient during life’s ups and downs. Most of all, it can bring forward a truer, more authentic self. Therapy is a collaborative process. You speak, and I listen closely — for what’s said and what lies beneath the surface — helping you see what may be getting in the way of a more fulfilling life. As Carl Rogers wrote: “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” I’ve found that to be true. Patients find it helpful to explore childhood, memories that bubble up, dreams, feelings, fears, wishes — whatever arises. Our aim is an understanding of your inner world that leads to meaningful action & choice. With couples, I help you listen more clearly & break entrenched patterns. Everyone longs to be seen and heard & I'll help you arrive at that place. As a therapist and writer, I’m inspired to help each patient take hold of their narrative — understanding where they’ve come from & where they’d like to go. As we get to know one another, I tailor my style to your personality and needs. Your feedback is always encouraged. Email me to schedule a consultation & see if we’re a good fit. College is supposed to be one of the best times of your life, so why does it sometimes feel like the hardest? Maybe you're juggling more than you ever have before - classes, deadlines, relationships, and the pressure to perform academically while somehow also figuring out who you are and where you belong. Maybe the adjustment to college life has been harder than you expected - the homesickness, the new environment, the feeling that everyone else seems to be thriving while you're just trying to keep your head above water. Maybe anxiety has become your constant companion, or stress has made it hard to enjoy the things you used to love. Maybe you're asking bigger questions too - who am I, really? What do I actually want? Where am I headed? - and the pressure to have it all figured out feels overwhelming. Or maybe nothing dramatic has happened, and that almost makes it harder to explain. You just know something feels off, and you're not quite sure where to turn. Here's what I want you to know: you don't have to have it all together to reach out. You don't need a crisis to deserve support. College is one of the most profound transitions of your life - a time of incredible growth, but also real uncertainty, loneliness, and pressure that often goes unseen. I offer warm, collaborative, judgment-free therapy for college students navigating exactly this. Together we can work through anxiety and stress, explore who you are and who you want to become, and help you find your footing - so you can actually show up for your life, not just get through it. You deserve a space that's entirely yours - and finding the right therapist should feel like a good fit, not another stressor. That's why I offer a free 15-minute consultation - no pressure, no commitment - just a chance to chat, ask questions, and see if this feels right for you. Think of it as a low-stakes first step toward feeling more like yourself again. I'd be honored to be that space. Please reach out anytime. I'm here whenever you're ready.

Learning how to navigate life as a young adult is hard! You are trying to balance the demands of work or school, family, and friends, all while while figuring out who you are and who you want to be. As a driven and successful individual, you may put a lot of pressure on yourself and feel constrained by your own expectations. This can lead to constant self-doubt and feeling like you’re always reaching for an unattainable (or unrealistic) goal. You may be overextending yourself to others, and not focusing on yourself. Perhaps you have negative thought patterns or behaviors that are causing discomfort or you don’t always understand your reactions. Let’s work together to discover the barriers that are keeping you from finding balance in your life - taking care of yourself and setting boundaries is not selfish! I provide virtual therapy to clients located in New York, Florida, and internationally.
