I founded my practice to create a space for people to feel heard, seen, and to create positive change in their lives. I want mental health care to feel welcoming, accessible, and like a safe holding space to sort it all out. I truly believe we are all out here doing our best, and that every person deserves an opportunity to heal and grow from adversity. We are all flawed works in progress, and that’s perfectly okay. I have had the opportunity to live this; and know what it’s like to be in the other seat. I’m so grateful for the healers in my life (shout out to Rary and Rena!), and find great purpose and privilege in being able to do that for others. I guide clients by fostering space for exploration and curiosity while also integrating actionable practical tools. I specialize in helping people process their trauma, get relief from anxiety and depression, understand and set boundaries, and improve relationship functioning. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, strengths-based, and empathic. I am trained in evidenced based interventions that offer highly effective relief. Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) offers Trauma/PTSD treatment in 7-12 sessions. The Gottman Method is an extensively researched backed methodology for treating couples. My goal is to deepen the understanding between couples and provide blueprints for success to handle conflicts. Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) is a treatment modality for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Please don't hesitate to reach out for a free 15 minute consultation.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, connect, and be deeply heard and understood. Whether that is for you as an individual or in your relationship. Together, we can uncover patterns and explore meaningful, personalized coping tools to help you unwind and reconnect with yourself and/or your loved one. Maybe you’ve been turning the same thoughts over and over in your mind, searching for clarity, peace, solutions, or certainty—and not quite finding it. Therapy offers a space to talk through your concerns, ruminations, and vulnerable concerns at length, without judgment or interruption. My goal is to develop a deep, holistic understanding of how your experiences connect, so we can identify meaningful patterns and opportunities for growth, insight, and behavioral change. I help internalizers, people pleasers, and anxious individuals & couples—those whose minds are always racing or looping—find a place to let it out, ground themselves, and experience clarity and peace. I especially enjoy working with women, young adults, and those who dedicate themselves to making the world a better place, such as teachers, nurses, nonprofit professionals, and mothers, and I am open to working with any reflective individual or couple.

If you're not feeling like college is exactly what you pictured, - you're overwhelmed by meeting a ton of new people, - finding it harder to be away from home than you expected, - or feeling like you're expected to just know how to "adult", That makes sense! And you're not the only one. It's really difficult to balance all of the competing priorities in college. There's the pressure to do well academically, the constant socializing or feeling isolated away from friends, the emotional shit creeping up on us at 4am... It's a lot. Many of our clients think, "On top of everything else, how am I supposed to know who I am or what I'm doing with my life?" Especially if you're queer or trans, this time can be even more challenging when you don't feel like you have a dedicated space to process what comes up. The truth is, you're not supposed to have all the answers. As you go through figuring it out (and finding more questions) - one step at a time - it might help to have some extra support. Kindred Therapy LLC is an inclusive, affirming psychotherapy practice seeing clients over telehealth in PA and NJ. We support you in accepting all of your parts, healing from trauma, and just overall navigating this weird life. We particularly prioritize space for queer, gender expansive, neurodivergent, and QTBIPOC individuals.

I am welcoming of people of all backgrounds and identities, and have extensive experience with individuals of diverse identities & marginalized backgrounds including BIPOC, queer, and immigrant communities. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology and hold credentials as both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have been in the field a little over 10 years and have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns; including depression, anxiety, identity formation, crisis management, addiction, and life transitions. My counseling style is very person-first and engaging. I believe in incorporating different therapeutic techniques in order to meet you exactly where you are during each interaction. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, person-centered, and solution-focused techniques. My goal is to have you feel comfortable and help guide you to develop healthy skills that encourage empowerment and self-discovery. Outside of my career, I am an animal lover that enjoys traveling. I enjoy being physically active and believe the best gifts are those you can experience! I am a fan of all Italian food and find comfort relaxing while watching a good movie or reading a thrilling book. I strongly advocate the concept of self-care and overall life balance. I understand how vulnerable and overwhelming it can feel to seek counseling and I appreciate the courage my clients display by doing so. I hope to support and provide encouragement as we begin this process together. I believe that every individual has the ability to overcome struggles and learn how to highlight their strengths that they may not even be aware they have! I look forward to working with you! "You're Braver than you believe. Stronger than you seem. and Smarter than you think." - A.A. Milne

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, burned out? Are you dealing with anxiety, depression, or difficulty in adjusting? I believe that every person can benefit from counseling and that finding the right match with your provider matters. My theoretical orientation follows the person-centered approach to counseling, which recognizes the potential of clients to determine their own best treatment. I believe in a collaborative effort between counselor and client and will work with you to achieve the most beneficial outcome for you, as an individual.. My approach is based on my belief that we all have the capacity to improve our own well-being and that counseling can often be a catalyst toward change. My hope and intention are to work with you to define your counseling goals and to help you discover the best way to achieve those goals.

I believe that therapy is a partnership. You and I will work together in helping you make progress achieving your goals. My purpose is to have you walk out of a session feeling better than when you first arrived. This is serious work, yet I believe as with all things in life, laughter should be a key component of therapy!! I stay cognizant of the fact that therapy is a time commitment, a financial commitment, and especially, an emotional commitment. If we work together, please know that I am just as committed to you, and to the therapeutic process of healing.

Hello! Throughout my ten years in the mental health field, I have worked in settings that range from inpatient to outpatient, as well as school and mobile. My clients represent all stages across the lifespan. My passion is helping clients to address a variety of needs, many of which stem from prior traumatic or dysfunctional patterns, as well as to help them find a more fulfilling balance. I often see clients suffer from imposter and/or Wonder Woman syndrome, frequently manifesting as suicidal ideation, depression, and/or anxiety. I use an integrated approach rooted in feminist theory, and that focuses on how trauma currently shows up in our lives. I find this is crucial to break the cycle. I believe that clients of all genders are harmed by societal norms, roles, and stigmas; we all can benefit from working to break down those barriers for the sake of healthy emotional expression. There is nothing better in my line of work than watching clients heal and grow to become thrivers - their own champions. Please reach out to discuss a potential relationship!

If you need mental health support, you shouldn’t have to worry about your therapist judging you or making you feel uncomfortable. You are the expert in who you are, and I do my best to learn from my clients and provide a safe space to address whatever you’re going through. I frequently use cognitive behavioral, insight oriented, and emotions focused interventions within session. I’m also trained and certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is frequently used to address trauma but is also helpful in reducing the distress experienced around any negative thought and replacing it with a healthier/adaptive thought. I appreciate that I can’t be a good fit for everyone, so I welcome consultation calls to explore if my approach to counseling would be supportive to what you’re looking for within therapy.
