I support students who may be feeling overwhelmed by everything they are trying to balance. You may be struggling with anxiety, stress, relationships, school, family expectations, or simply trying to figure out who you are and where you are going. You may look like you are handling everything on the outside while feeling exhausted, stuck, or unsure on the inside. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, better understand yourself, build healthier ways of coping, and feel more confident navigating this season of life.

Do you struggle with just being yourself these days? Well, kick off your shoes, relax, put up your feet, let's get real and talk. Many people see therapy as a never ending cycle of therapists sitting with a notepad repeating, "How does that make you feel?". I can assure therapy with me is never a cliche. I know how easy it is to feel alone and always asking why me. Some days it's easy to feel trapped looking for the fastest escape. Others you want to burst into tears or moments you feel like you're making all the wrong choices. I can understand if you need a break and want to scream. I'm here to help. Let's explore those issues you may be struggling with together and take back control of your life.

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I obtained both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Tyler. I have over 11 years of experience in nursing working in various fields and with a variety of patient populations. I have experience working with patients needing mental health services both inpatient and outpatient. I am dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with mental health concerns by increasing access to those needing mental health treatment while providing support, compassion, and understanding. I am here for the patient and want to ensure that all his or her needs are met. I have a passion for working in mental health services and genuinely care about each individual. I listen to his or her concerns and history to develop a diagnosis and formulate a treatment plan with the patient. The patients preferences and needs will lead the treatment approach initially and going forward. I include the patient in all aspects of care. Listening to his or her concerns, symptoms, and history is an important starting point in developing a diagnosis. The diagnosis is thoroughly discussed with the patient and I will answer any questions that present. Following the diagnosis, a plan of care is developed with the patients input. Patient preferences for therapy, medication, or both, are included in the treatment plan, and any referrals necessary will be made. Medication, if necessary and agreed upon, will be called in to the patients preferred pharmacy and any remaining questions or concerns will be addressed. A follow-up visit to assess ongoing effectiveness of the treatment plan will be made. At consecutive appointments, any necessary changes to the treatment plan will be made. However, I am available for concerns, questions, or needs that may arise prior to follow-up visits when needed.

College can be an exciting time, but it can also feel overwhelming. Between classes, relationships, friendships, family expectations, work, and figuring out who you are, it's easy to feel like you're supposed to have everything figured out when you're still trying to find your footing. I'm Grace, and I'm a therapist who works with young adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, identity, and the pressure to "have it all together". My approach is warm, collaborative, and judgement-free. Therapy isn't about telling you what you SHOULD do. It's a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and build a life that actually feels like yours. Whether you're struggling to manage the demands of college, feeling disconnected from yourself, navigating a difficult relationship, or simply feel like something is "off", you don't have to figure it out alone. We can work together to understand what's underneath the stress, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and help you feel more confident moving forward. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to see if we are a good fit. Feel free to email me to set one up. I can't wait to meet you!

Y’all. Adulting is hard. You might be finishing school, moving out, starting a career, or trying to make big life choices that feel like they’ll define your future. It’s a lot. Between the pressure to “have your sh** together” and constantly comparing yourself to others, it’s easy to feel lost, anxious, depressed, or stuck. Stepping into adulthood can be exciting–and overwhelming. No matter how much you’ve prepared yourself for this moment, change is tough and let’s be real–adulting is hard. Growing up doesn’t come with a roadmap ( I know, I wish it did too.), but that’s because everyone’s path can look different. Many young adults come to therapy for help with challenges like: -Anxiety or stress about school, work, the future, and feeling “behind” -Overthinking and self-doubt that won’t turn off -Difficulty making decisions or feeling stuck in “what’s next” -Identity exploration–figuring out values, goals, or sense of self -Relationship changes with friends, family, or partners -Depression from not feeling like you’re good enough -Burnout from trying to do it all -Life transitions, like moving out, finishing college or starting a new job These challenges are adult growing pains, like when your legs used to hurt before you grew a couple inches. But you know, emotionally. Maybe you also have some baggage from the past that can make navigating these challenges even more difficult (Thanks parents!).

College can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. You may be balancing classes, work, relationships, family expectations, finances, or trying to figure out who you are and what comes next. If you're feeling anxious, emotionally drained, stuck, or carrying the weight of everything on your own, you're not alone. ICS Therapy provides telehealth services for individuals living in Texas, Colorado, and Florida. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, process what you're experiencing, and build practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence. I enjoy working with college students who are managing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, trauma, self-esteem, burnout, and the pressures of trying to meet everyone's expectations. As a military spouse, former military child, and mother of four, I understand how major life changes, uncertainty, and balancing multiple roles can impact your emotional well-being. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique experiences and goals. Together, we'll help you better understand yourself, strengthen healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether this is your first time considering therapy or you're returning after taking a break, you deserve a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. My goal is to help you move beyond simply getting through each day so you can feel more confident, connected, and empowered in your life.

“It’s always best to believe in one’s self, but a little help from others can be a great blessing!” I view each person as the main character in their book of life. Each book contains stories of joy, sadness, exploration, struggle, and most importantly, HOPE. My goal to assist in exploring these stories, whether you encounter depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, intersectional struggles, or self-esteem issues...I am especially sensitive to those impacted by LGBTQ issues, religious minorities, activists, uniformed public servants, and those experiencing depression. I utilize a multiculturally sensitive approach, borrowing from ACT, DBT, MBCT, mindfulness, narrative, and solution-focused therapies to develop a collaborative and eclectic style to treatment, tailored to your needs. Cultures all over the world have a common truth: life is suffering. Through therapy, I hope to create a safe and empowering environment to help you withstand and overcome that suffering. I welcome you to reach out to start this journey.

I earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree specializing in Psychiatry from The University of Texas at Arlington. I am proud to say I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am a true believer that not one of my fellow humans is immune to stress, anxiety, and feelings of sadness at some point in their life. We all find ourselves feeling vulnerable at times. It is completely normal to question why we feel the emotions that we do, why we seem to fall apart at times, and better yet, how we can get through it all in one beautiful piece. I think the first step to meaningful recovery from anxiety, depression, complex mental illness, and/or substance use is to reach out and ask for help. It is a difficult, but very brave action. I am not one to judge, look down on, question your past experiences, or current situation. I am very good at rationally breaking down a situation and I can offer practical advice and medication suggestions depending on your goal in mind. Feeling torn between the stresses of college and personal relationships as a young woman? I empower motivated college students to navigate anxiety, women's issues, and life transitions so they can foster healthy connections and self-care, without sacrificing their ambitions. Hello! I’m Stephanie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to supporting adults as they navigate the complexities of mental health, trauma, and significant life changes. My journey in this field has been defined by a deep-seated belief in the resilience of the human spirit and a commitment to providing a nonjudgmental, empowering space where healing can truly begin. My Background and Expertise Background and Expertise My clinical foundation was built in the fast-paced, high-acuity environment of inpatient psychiatric hospitals across both the rural Amarillo region and the Austin Metroplex. Serving as a therapist, case manager, and court liaison, I have worked with patients facing some of life’s most challenging moments—from acute crisis intervention and short-term substance detox to the long-term management of chronic mood and psychotic disorders. This extensive background means that I am comfortable sitting with you through just about anything. Whether you are dealing with a recent crisis, navigating the heavy fog of grief and loss, or managing a chronic mental health condition that requires careful coordination and advocacy, I bring a wealth of systemic knowledge and clinical skill to our sessions. I understand the "social systems" of Texas and the unique obstacles our residents face, and I use that insight to help you navigate your own path to stability. My Therapeutic Approach I describe my style as eclectic, solution-focused, and deeply client-centered. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all "fix." Instead, I view therapy as a collaborative partnership. We will work together to identify your specific priorities and the barriers standing in your way. My approach is grounded in: Empowerment: I operate from a strengths-based perspective, helping you rediscover your internal resources. Holistic Wellness: I believe in looking at the whole person—your environment, your history, and your goals. Evidence-Based Skills: I integrate tools from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT to provide you with practical strategies for daily life. What to Expect In our work together, you can expect directness tempered with deep empathy. I am a firm believer in "reality testing" and stabilization, helping you find a "new normal" that preserves your sense of self while improving your social functioning and personal satisfaction. Whether you need a space to process a specific traumatic event, a partner to help you set and reach life goals, or simply a confidential place to vent and debrief after a period of burnout, I am here to support you. Start Your Journey I know that seeking mental health care is a significant investment of your time, emotions, and resources. To ensure we are the right match, I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation. This is a pressure-free time for us to meet, discuss your expectations, and determine if my skill set aligns with your needs. My goal is to empower you to create a plan of action that leads exactly where you want to be. I look forward to meeting you and helping you build the resilience needed to move forward.

Heather loves to help her clients achieve the goals they set for themselves. She works hard to create a warm, relaxing and open minded environment for her clients to work. Heather has experience helping families meet each other where they are and improving the relationships; helping those struggling with addictions and how to work through the process; helping those with stress/depression/grief/school/relationship and work struggles are some examples of the type of clients Heather helps. She can help guide her clients to the goals they set and live the life they want and deserve. Heather understands that life can throw curve balls to all and wants to do what she can to help you from where you are. Heather helps based on what the client or clients are looking for. She will always have a plan for your sessions, but truly wants her clients to have a voice in how they work through whatever issues are at hand. When Heather is not working, she loves to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys being outside, road trips, being on the water somewhere, building her faith and finding a good spot to read a book. Heather cannot wait to help you achieve the goals you have and would love to talk with you further about how she can assist you.
