I am a licensed psychotherapist in the states of Colorado and New York. I received my Master’s in clinical counseling psychology from Northwestern University and Bachelor’s in communication from the University of Denver. I specialize in working with adults and young adults struggling with anxiety, self esteem and body image, life transitions, relationship issues and trauma. I bring a warm, intuitive and holistic approach with my clients. Some examples of approaches I utilize include CBT, EMDR, emotional release and traditional "talk" therapy.
There's something different about you. Maybe you're figuring out what sexuality, gender, and romantic life can look like, or exploring polyamory or kink. Maybe you're a plural system. Or maybe your life has been changed by traumatic experiences. You may view the world through a neurotype or spiritual lens that doesn’t match the people around you. It might be really hard to trust people--to risk opening up about what you're dealing with. I get it. It’s hard to know who actually has your back. And trying to find the right counselor when you're already struggling with so much can feel impossible. That's where I come in. My job is to listen--to get to know you and help you shape your life into what *you* want it to be. As your therapist, I'll help you work toward the life you want, based on your specific situation and needs. I won't blame you, or try to change you in ways that you don't want, or force you to talk about things that are too hard. You might feel overwhelmed, but you've made it this far. You're taking steps toward feeling better--feeling okay. I know you're in pain, and I believe you're doing your best. But when things aren't working, you don't have to try to figure it all out alone. Send me an email, or a text, or a phone call. We can figure it out from here, together.
I specialize in helping people through difficult times, whether due to a loss or a transition. It is in these times that we feel most afraid, lost, and unsure of the way forward. It is all too common that we cope with adversity by being hard on ourselves, withdrawing in shame, or disconnecting from what nourishes us. I will help you find the tools and skills within yourself to move forward and create a new life. I will work with you to accept where you are now, find the strengths and skills you already have, and use them to climb out of your current state of unhappiness, guilt, or numbness, and toward more flexibility, joy, love, and gratitude. I use various techniques and modalities to achieve this with you, but the primary tool I use is Self- Compassion. Finding the support you need right now is important to your healing journey. I offer a non-judgmental, compassionate perspective that focuses on reframing your experience, and providing relief from suffering in the moment. The pain and fear of depression and anxiety can often cause feelings of isolation and despair, but you don't have to go through it alone.

At the heart of my work is respect for your agency, deep curiosity about your lived experience, and belief in your capacity for growth and change. I offer a steady, collaborative space where individuals, couples, friends, and families can slow down, reflect, and explore patterns shaping their relationships and inner lives. Therapy with me is not about labeling or judging, it's about understanding what's going on, making sense of it together, and opening up new possibilities. I value authenticity, compassion, and connection, and I work alongside clients to build insight and practical tools that support balance, resilience, and deeper relational connection. Feeling stuck often signals a transition rather than a failure, and together we can create space for clarity, empowerment, and what’s ready to emerge next.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, overthinking, and relationship challenges. My approach is grounded, genuine, and centered around creating a space that actually feels human. I want clients to feel like they can come in exactly as they are — messy thoughts, uncertainty, humor, emotions and all — without feeling judged or pressured to “have it together.” I care deeply about building real, trusting connections and meeting people where they’re at, while helping them grow, heal, and feel more confident and at peace in their lives. Together we’ll explore your current challenges, goals, strengths, and what kind of support may feel most helpful for you. As humans, we are subjected to the many ups, and downs life throws at us. One of my favorite quotes that I use as a core principle to help clients is, "Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional." Meaning we can choose, and we have to power to regain a rich, full, meaningful life. If you are ready to break old patterns, live a life in the direction of your values, and accept all parts of yourself, then you are already on your path of personal growth. My goal is to walk alongside you through this journey and provide support and empowerment to live a heart-driven, meaningful life. I use a variety of approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based (MBCT). I can help you identify and build a value-driven life, help with troubling thoughts and feelings, and utilize mindfulness, to help you connect your mind and body as coping skills to better serve you.
