Offering telehealth sessions! I believe we are all naturally inclined toward personal growth and success—each of us with our own strengths, desires, and goals that would lead us in the direction of contentment and happiness under optimal conditions. Problems arise because we don’t live in a perfect world, and in an effort to adapt, we sometimes develop strategies that make sense in the short term, but are not effective in moving us forward. We “get stuck,” leading to anxiety, frustration, and conflict, which leads in turn to us feeling bad about ourselves and our relationships. I view therapy as a collaboration between me and my clients, where we work together to understand the root causes of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that get in the way of resolving problems. Together, we will clarify your goals, uncover and capitalize on existing strengths, and develop new ways of working through difficulties. My style, which is both directive and supportive, honest and compassionate, works to build the trusting relationship that will be key to our work together. My approach is integrative, eclectic, and flexible: we'll start wherever you are and go from there. The first step is the hardest, but you're not alone in the journey. Give me a call and we'll get you on your way!

Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you haven't done it before. My goal is to allow you to feel comfortable as you transition into therapy by being warm, transparent, patient and affirming. I take a person centered approach which means I listen nonjudgmentally so you feel understood and supported in sessions. I meet clients where they are at and empower clients to decide what they want to focus on in sessions. I have primarily worked with young adults in my career. My experience allows me to adjust my approach to meet the unique circumstances of my clients and assist clients in times of crisis. Clients I serve often struggle to maintain stable relationships, need assistance navigating life transitions, and coping with their emotions.

I specialize in supporting people who might see themselves in those descriptions or identify with experiences such as: Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, OCD, Panic Disorder, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, or Borderline Personality Disorder. I utilize therapeutic strategies informed by attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, exposure and response prevention therapy, psychodynamic and internal-family systems models to provide a flexible, person-centered experience. The work of therapy cannot be successful without a bond of trust, respect, and collaboration between client and therapist. In addition to eclectic psychotherapy, I provide Internal Family Systems work and a variety of psychodramatic and hypnotic methods in my practice. I have worked with individuals, couples and families for over 4 decades. My belief is that people are complicated and do not fit into simplistic, diagnostic categories. My experience informs me when a therapist (or teacher) believes in your basic goodness and capabilities, you can do more than you ever thought you could.. The initial interview is of the therapist at no charge. Most insurances are accepted. Appointments are limited but available at this time.

Your voice and perspective as a woman or girl are celebrated here. This is a dedicated space where you can be comfortable discussing female centered topics and experiences. I believe that social interactions, societal stresses and unique biology impact girls and women in ways that require a female centered lens for mental health treatment. Coming to therapy knowing this is a specialized practice can lead to greater comfort exploring trauma and female specific issues. These deeper conversations build the therapeutic alliance and increase the potential that women and girls will see improvement in their mental health symptoms

I am currently accepting new clients and offer both weekly therapy sessions and EMDR intensives, allowing you to choose the pace and structure that best fits your needs. I strive to create a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to process painful emotions and life experiences. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual, helping you move toward healing with clarity and support. I specialize in trauma treatment and offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), one of the most well-researched and effective therapies for trauma and PTSD. In addition to traditional talk therapy and weekly EMDR sessions, I also provide EMDR intensives and Ketamine-Assisted EMDR for clients seeking deeper, more accelerated healing. While I enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan, I have a particular passion for supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate the complexities of today. I earned my Master of Social Work with a specialization in behavioral health from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Wake Forest University. I am licensed to practice in Massachusetts and Maryland.

As a licensed social worker, I specialize in helping individuals, both adolescents and adults, navigate the challenges of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders. I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to empower my clients to manage their symptoms, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and to feel more comfortable with the inevitable discomfort and uncertainty that humans face daily. I offer a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their struggles. I believe in a holistic approach that addresses not just symptoms, but the whole person. I also value open communication, so I encourage feedback throughout our work together to ensure we are on the right path. I am passionate about this work because I truly believe that with the right tools and support, everyone has the ability to live a value-based life. I love seeing my clients develop a better understanding of their strengths and learn to live with uncertainty. It is amazing to me how much bigger the world can seem when we are not constrained by our fears.

Hi! I’m really glad you’re here. If you’re feeling anxious, low, or stuck in patterns that are hard to break, whether it's around your emotions, relationships, or day-to-day life, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I’m currently accepting new clients, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you in this part of your journey. I offer a space where you can be real, slow down, and start sorting through what’s been weighing you down. My style is warm, honest, and supportive. I’ll meet you where you are, and together we’ll gently explore what’s behind the stress, heaviness, or patterns that keep showing up. Healing doesn’t happen overnight, but with the right support, meaningful change is possible. If any of this resonates with you, feel free to reach out.
