Margot brings a warm and interactive style to her psychotherapeutic practice, which can best be described as “eclectic,” as she believes that not one type of therapy is right for everyone. Pulling from psychodynamic (insight-oriented) psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness/meditation, and somatics (the integration of body/mind/spirit), Margot will tailor her practice to people’s individual needs depending on the particular issues they would like to address in therapy. Margot is committed to serving traditionally marginalized communities including people of color, queer and transgender/gender non-conforming people, poly and kink identified people, and people with disabilities. Hello! My background is working with teens, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in depression, self-esteem, anxiety, as well as mood and personality disorders like bipolar and borderline personality disorders. Sessions lead with a person-centered approach and evidence-based practices. My style is warm and fun, partly so you can feel like you took a breath of fresh air, at the same time as reaching your goals. I value the importance of trust when working with my clients. Together, we will create an individualized plan where you approve each decision. The purpose would be to have clear goals, monitor progress, and efficiency. I recently started my own practice, after being an associate therapist for a group for 3+ years. My experience also includes working for Youth and Family Services, child protection, a homeless shelter, and inpatient care. Environments that emphasized the importance of providing compassionate and quality care, with confidence to handle any complex situation. Anyone who tries to make the commitment to start therapy deserves a lot of credit! In my experience, what sets apart a good from a great therapist is having an innate ability to empathize and listen. I make this standard. There is a special purpose in feeling seen. For more info schedule a free consult! I look forward to meeting!
The universal human need and desire to seek and attain healthy relationships, joy, purpose, acceptance, peace, love, fearlessness (the list goes on...) is a journey that should not be traveled alone. As your therapist, we would like to offer you the ability to have a second set of footsteps traveling along with you as you explore, accept, challenge, change, heal and cope with the unexpected directions life has and will inevitably take you. We work as individual and couples therapists with all populations and we presently focus our practice on young adults and young working professionals. Our practice specializes in supporting individuals with anxiety and mood concerns, helping navigate and improve intimate and family relationships, guiding through major life transitions, and caring for those suffering from issues rooted in systemic racial oppression, socioeconomic barriers, LGBTQIA+ concerns, cultural/spiritual differences, and more. During our initial phone and/or email consultation, we will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding our therapy style (ACT, Solution Focused, CBT, Narrative, Buddhist Philosophy etc.), payment, health insurance and more!

Thank you for considering working with me. I do both therapy and/or medication management. My approach is a team approach where I work collaboratively with you. Even if you have a therapist and need someone for just medication management, I like to get to know you as a whole. I try to avoid making students feel labeled and pressured to start a medication. I strive to make a welcoming environment for all students with diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ students. My private practice is mainly undergraduate and graduate students along with young adults recently in the workforce.

I am an experienced psychotherapist (LICSW) and Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) working with individuals, couples and groups. I hold a PhD in biochemistry, which informs my work in psychotherapy by integrating current research in neurobiology into my treatment approach. I believe in the resilience of every human being and work to capitalize on the best in people I work with. I specialize in attachment trauma, loss, relationship issues, challenging life transitions and the negative coping styles that often accompany them. I am trained in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), an emotionally focused therapy heavily informed by neurobiology and how we heal relationally as social beings. Alongside of understanding you through your relationships and life experiences, we will highlight new experiences and positive change that will help you reach your goals. For more about AEDP go to www.AEDPInstitute.org. My broader training consists of proactive cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness techniques, stress reduction strategies, and relational and communication tools. My goal in working with you is to actively move you toward your goals. I run relationship groups for people who struggle with relationship issues. Please see my website for further information. My practice is LGBTQ welcoming and multiculturally informed.
I hold an enduring belief in the innate capacity of individuals to grow, heal, and transform. At times, we all lose sight of our core selves and may need help returning back to our true, unburdened nature. In our sessions, I work to create a safe environment where you will develop insight, strengthen inner resources, and increase self-compassion. My work is deeply relational and grounded in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model. Through collaboration, we will design a therapy that best suits your needs - bringing warmth, curiosity, and respect into the therapeutic space. My practice centers on helping individuals and couples, with a focus on complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also work well with those experiencing challenges with relationships, gender and sexuality, body image, creative blocks and addictions. No matter where you are starting from, our work together will always deepen your connection to yourself. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the largest factor in facilitating change, so I understand the importance of finding the right fit. I look forward to meeting you and exploring how we can work together to help you lead a more satisfying and meaningful life. Email is preferred for initial contact
Every person comes with a different story, and this means that therapy should not be a one size fits all experience. College can be a very exciting time, however it comes with a lot of changes. Realizing that you might need to take the next step and engage in therapy can be scary, but together we will set realistic goals in a non-judgemental and welcoming environment. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and general stressors that accompany college life. I also have extensive experience working with people who have experienced trauma. I believe we all have the ability to cope with difficult situations in our lives, but often need support in doing this. Our time together should feel beneficial and I encourage you to reach out to discuss if we are the right fit.

As a licensed social worker, I specialize in helping individuals, both adolescents and adults, navigate the challenges of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders. I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to empower my clients to manage their symptoms, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and to feel more comfortable with the inevitable discomfort and uncertainty that humans face daily. I offer a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their struggles. I believe in a holistic approach that addresses not just symptoms, but the whole person. I also value open communication, so I encourage feedback throughout our work together to ensure we are on the right path. I am passionate about this work because I truly believe that with the right tools and support, everyone has the ability to live a value-based life. I love seeing my clients develop a better understanding of their strengths and learn to live with uncertainty. It is amazing to me how much bigger the world can seem when we are not constrained by our fears.

Do you ever wonder how everyone else seems to have figured out how to balance everything, but you're still starting your papers at midnight the night before they're due? It feels like you're trying your best, but everything just keeps getting harder. Maybe you've been feeling anxious, stressed, and overwhelmed most days, and you're also starting to question whether you might be neurodivergent. And somehow, the more you learn about what might be going on for you, the more overwhelmed you feel. What if things could be just a little bit easier? If you could manage the stress and overwhelm, make time for the people and things that are important to you, learn to be okay with putting yourself first, and maybe even figure out how to quiet those racing thoughts that keep you up at night. Let's work together to figure it out. My clients describe me as supportive, nonjudgmental, and easy to talk to. My practice is affirming to all, though I specialize in supporting women and LGBTQIA+ individuals who identify as ADHD, autistic, or AuDHD. I help my clients to make sense of their past, find ways to feel grounded and confident in the present, and start creating the future they want. It may not seem like it now, but things can get better. Visit my website to learn more and reach out to schedule a free consultation.
