Starting or returning to college can bring up unique challenges—navigating relationships, managing stress, adjusting to new independence, or figuring out who you are and what you want. I work best with students who are thoughtful, curious, and open to exploring their inner world, even if that feels a little intimidating at first. Many of my clients are balancing academics with the ups and downs of friendships, family, dating, and questions about their identity. My practice is LGBTQ-affirming and welcoming to students of all backgrounds. I provide a calm and supportive space where you can slow down, untangle what feels overwhelming, and begin to feel more grounded. Whether you’re seeking clarity in relationships, support with stress or anxiety, or a place to process deeper emotions, therapy can be a meaningful step toward feeling more connected and at ease with yourself. I look forward to supporting you!

While we may not always have control over all aspects of our lives, we have control over how we choose to react, how we make meaning of our situation, and most importantly how we grow from the challenges presented to us. I work with adults throughout the lifespan, from young adults to older adults, in an individual and group therapy setting. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, identity development, life transitions, and navigating relationships. I love working with clients who recognize the need for change in their lives and are motivated to work towards bettering their relationship with themselves and others. I utilize both psychodynamic (how the past influences the present) and interpersonal approaches (how relational patterns impact psychological well-being) to therapy. In addition, I also borrow from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)/Mindfulness to help build healthy coping strategies. I do not believe in a one size fits all therapy, but I do believe in two necessary factors: hope and a strong therapeutic relationship. Hope ignites the courage to take the first step towards change and the therapeutic relationship is the vessel in which the journey towards change takes place.

You often wish you felt better about yourself, didn't get so easily overwhelmed, and could handle conflict but aren’t even sure where to start. You’ve found yourself questioning if you should talk to someone. You’ve come to the right place! College life is full of changes and challenges. Even if they are good, changes can sometimes be more than we have bargained for and create a lot of stress and anxiety. Through their work with me, my clients have experienced feeling less overwhelmed by emotions, found effective ways to handle conflict with others (like roommates and partners), felt more connected/present, and gained more confidence in themselves. My clients describe me as welcoming, witty, direct, knowledgeable, and relatable. My style of therapy is very collaborative and conversational as I share tools that you can use in between our sessions. You can reduce the amount of anxiety you experience. At the very least, I can help you manage it in a different way that is less disruptive to you, your relationships, and achieving what you want to in school.

Welcome to Insights Psychological Services. College and graduate school can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. You may be juggling academic pressure, relationships, career decisions, family expectations, identity, and the constant feeling that you should be doing more—or handling it all better. At Insights, we provide virtual therapy for college students, graduate students, young adults, professionals, and couples throughout Massachusetts. Our therapists take a warm, relational approach to therapy. We believe that feeling understood, comfortable, and genuinely connected with your therapist is an important part of creating meaningful and lasting change. **We are currently welcoming new clients with Dr. Samantha Jackson, our postdoctoral fellow at Insights.** Dr. Jackson provides a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative space for clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply wanting to understand themselves more deeply. She especially enjoys working with college and graduate students, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, perfectionism, burnout, and major life transitions. Dr. Jackson takes a relational and psychodynamically informed approach, helping clients explore not only what they are experiencing, but also the patterns, relationships, and experiences that may be contributing to how they feel today. Her goal is to create a space where clients can feel genuinely heard and comfortable being themselves while working toward meaningful change. More broadly, our clinicians at Insights frequently work with anxiety, depression or low mood, ADHD, perfectionism, burnout, stress, panic, OCD tendencies, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, family-of-origin issues, trauma, and major life transitions. We also support clients exploring racial and cultural identity, gender and sexual identity, sexual health, neurodivergence, and religious or existential concerns. Therapy doesn't have to be another place where you're expected to have everything figured out. It can be a space to slow down, better understand yourself and your patterns, work through what's getting in the way, and develop healthier ways of navigating your relationships and your life. **Dr. Jackson currently has immediate telehealth openings for new clients.** We offer a **free 20-minute consultation** so you can meet with us, ask questions, and see whether Dr. Jackson—or another therapist at Insights—feels like the right fit. Are you feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or like you're carrying invisible weight no one else can see? Whether you're juggling classes, navigating relationships, questioning your identity, or dealing with family or cultural pressure, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m Tsuki, and I specialize in working with students who often feel like they don’t quite “fit the mold.” Many of the students I support are BIPOC, neurodivergent (ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD), and LGBTQIA+, and they're trying to make sense of who they are while moving through complex systems that weren’t built with them in mind. In therapy, your whole self is welcome — even the parts that feel messy or misunderstood. I offer online therapy in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese and bring a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to our work together. Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and always grounded in respect for who you are and what you need. If you’re looking for support with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity questions, or just feeling stuck — I’m here to help.

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist, and I feel privileged to help those struggling with mental health issues. I understand that there is still a stigma surrounding mental health, and I strive to ensure my patients feel understood during our appointments. Building rapport and getting to know my patients beyond just their diagnoses is central to my approach to care. I have experience treating patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, emergency departments, and medical hospitals. I believe that the best outcomes usually occur when medications and therapy are used together. While I enjoy treating all psychiatric illnesses, I have a particular affinity for personality disorders and substance use disorders. I also have experience addressing mental health issues during and after pregnancy. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Biology at Laurentian University, followed by medical training at Ross University School of Medicine. I then completed my psychiatry residency, serving as chief resident, at the University of North Dakota in Fargo.
