Whether you’re feeling unheard in your relationship or burdened by emotional pain, you don’t have to face it alone. Our approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices. We specialize in trauma-informed care and use approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients build deeper emotional connections, develop insight, and create lasting change. We focus not just on symptom relief, but on helping you understand the “why” behind your experiences so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and stronger relationships.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York and is currently in the process of receiving my PhD in Mental Health Counseling at Pace University. I recognize that each individual is unique and is the expert in their own life. I utilize a person-centered approach focusing on key components of positive psychology and cognitive mindfulness techniques to help foster resilience when facing adversity. I believe the most important way a person can be fully themselves is by building a trusting, empathetic, and compassionate relationship between a client and a therapist. My therapeutic work focuses on helping clients gain insight into their thoughts, better identify emotions, and empower clients to make more mindful decisions for themselves. I am passionate about helping children, teens, and adults navigate their lives. I utilize creativity and mindfulness with my clients and incorporate stepping outside of the box to provide clients the opportunity to freely express themselves while learning healthy ways to communicate their emotions. My motto comes from my Great Aunt Mary: “Wherever you plant her, she will grow” This is the motto that I hold for all of my clients, wherever life might take you, you have the ability to grow to your full potential, even when planted in adverse and challenging environments. Every garden needs support to grow, let me be your support along your journey!

Are you ready to work with a therapist who truly sees you? At With Heart With Soul Therapy, we believe that healing is not about ”fixing,” it’s about reclaiming who you are, improving internal and external relationships, and embracing authenticity. We understand how past wounds, or the weight of expectations, can make it hard to hear or trust your own voice. Here, there is opportunity to slow down, breathe, and reconnect; using a mind, body, soul approach, we integrate traditional evidence-based therapy and holistic healing to support those navigating deep emotions and life’s complexities, or moving from surviving to thriving. This practice specializes in holding space for resilient souls, cycle breakers, and self-healers. Our team of clinicians are genuine, skilled, and heart-centered people who bring both expertise and compassion to the work we do. We create a therapeutic space where you can process your inner and outer worlds, develop coping strategies, and reclaim your power and voice.

I'm a zen practicing therapist+musician who loves working with people on their journeys to healthier relationships and becoming their most authentic selves. I was raised fundamentalist and spent my childhood learning fire and brimstone theology and memorizing verses from the King James Bible. Needless to say I chose to leave the "sinners in the hands of an angry God" mentality behind when I grew up. The truth is, being hard on ourselves doesn't help us or anyone else. But compassion, love, acceptance and presence connect us to who we really are, and who we can become. Along the journey, I've played a lot of music (with friends, in bands) and become a therapist. I wrote an album while in grad school and took a year off after grad school to play shows and work at a record store. I believe it's OK to have multiple passions, to want to do a lot of things, to use your voice, and to take your time figuring it all out. In our work together, I want to help you tap into your own creativity and inner wisdom while also drawing from evidence-based modalities to help you live a purposeful life, deepen your relationships, and reach your goals as a couple or as an individual. LGBTQI affirming. Puedo hablar contigo un poco de español, pero no puedo hablar con fluencia.

Oh college, it's "supposed" to be the best days of your life...whoever came up with that needs a serious reality check. I've been through it and have also worked with enough college students, young adults, and adults of all ages to say that for many of us, that statement is completely false. So please know that if you find that these are not the best days (or even if you feel that these are the worst days), you are not alone. There is nothing "wrong" with you and I am here to help. I unfortunately don't have a magic wand to transform your college experience into something you see in the movies, but I provide a combination of medication management and brief supportive therapy (a fancy way of saying I include some therapy during our 30 minute medication follow up appointments) that can help address concerns like depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and mood disorders. I’ll work with you to create a personalized plan that meets your unique needs and helps you achieve your mental health goals. Talking about medication can be daunting. When I prescribe it, my goal isn’t to change who you are, but to help you rediscover what life can be like when your symptoms are managed. While medication won’t solve every issue, it can be a powerful tool alongside therapy and lifestyle changes, enabling you to reclaim your ability to thrive.

Gen Z and Millennial women are often bombarded with difficult life transitions such as adulting, relationship distress, quarter-life crises, career pursuits, parenting, caregiving, and more. This can be a lot to manage! Societal pressures plus the changing roles of women in this age group require a focused, feminist, and knowledgable approach. It can be tricky searching for the right therapist, so I appreciate you being here in the first place. My approach is fine-tuned, using radical genuineness, to help you learn how to manage these unique stressors while maintaining authenticity and calm. I am practiced in several targeted therapies that meet the needs of women in transition including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). In my personal experience, I have come to view change as the only constant, which is why I find great value in being able to help my clients through significant life transitions. Looking back at the clients I've served over the years, I have been able to find something about every one of them that I admire. I love meeting my clients where they are and seeing how I can support their walk through life in a genuine, non-judgmental, and meaningful way. If this sounds like the right approach for you, feel free to reach out for a phone consult.

I have worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, from all walks of life. My most recent work with clients has targeted anxiety, depression, self esteem, relationship/interpersonal challenges, and school/work stress. I have also worked with couples and families looking to restore peace and balance in their homes. My approach is both exploratory/insight-oriented and solution-focused. It’s crucial to understand the deeper, often invisible, parts of you, and it is equally important to have concrete tools that you can utilize in your journey toward change. As mentioned above, I am dedicated to collaborative work (you are the expert of your life!) - we will gain insights together, decide what skills might be useful, and we will make tweaks along the way.

Feeling stuck? Questioning whether therapy is right for you—or worth it? You’re not alone. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but it’s also one of the most empowering steps you can take toward understanding yourself and creating meaningful change. I take a collaborative, down-to-earth approach to therapy, grounded in empathy, honesty, and a judgment-free space. I incorporate creative and flexible therapeutic techniques to meet you where you are and help you build insight, resilience, and confidence. Since 2012, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, family stress, substance use, eating disorders, and life transitions. I have a strong understanding of the unique pressures students face and aim to provide support that feels both practical and relatable. Reaching out can be hard—but you don’t have to figure things out on your own. We’ll take this step together.

I specialize in therapy for young and emerging adult women with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and OCD to help them find balance and gain new perspectives on how they see the world and themselves. I challenge Perfectionists, Overthinkers, and People Pleasers to step out of their black-and-white thinking. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns that have protected you in the past, dive deeper into your experiences, and notice the stories that your mind is telling you. We’ll work with both your mind and body, helping you tune into how your thoughts, emotions, and physical responses are connected. As an integrative therapist, I blend evidence-based practices with a human, relational approach—drawing from different modalities to meet you where you are and what you need most. My goal is to provide a balanced, trauma-informed, and holistic approach that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and emotions. If you’re ready to understand yourself more deeply, build healthier boundaries, strengthen your self-trust, and create more space for flexibility and self-compassion, feel free to reach out or schedule a free consultation through my website—I’d be honored to support you!

Are you struggling with mood disorders, anxiety issues, OCD, or eating disorders? I provide mental health care for adults with a multimodal approach, ensuring relevant and informed patient care personalized to your specific lifestyle, wants, and needs. You are a unique individual with your own neurobiochemical makeup, which is why we work together to create a holistic treatment plan that you feel is realistic and sustainable. My specialty is in taking in a functional approach to psychiatry, with goals to discover the root cause of symptoms, provide options for treatment, and offer education for an informed therapeutic journey. I look forward to exploring the best options for you in our work together. Working together, you can expect a collaborative, therapeutic relationship, nonjudgmental environment, and creative solutions. I believe in taking a holistic approach while practicing with current evidence-based treatments, incorporating medications, psychotherapy, lifestyle counseling, and functional/nutritional psychiatry. My style of psychotherapy is integrative, combining Mindfulness, psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts/practices. Before becoming a Psych NP, I practiced as an RN in numerous medical specialties and discovered a passion for psychiatry over time. I saw how mental health was not equally prioritized to physical health, and believe it is all connected. This experience allows me to bring a well-rounded medical background to patient care while addressing psychiatric needs, contributing to holistic treatment.
