Have you felt like everyday is a treadmill that's going too fast? Feeling guilty for taking time for yourself? Having doubts like: Am I in the right career? Are the people around me good for me? Why do I keep arguing with my family? Is there a disconnect within your social or cultural identity? Maybe the sense of belonging comes with straddling two or more cultures. Feeling overwhelmed by the weight of heavy expectations? Any of these issues can bring stress, confusion, regret, and a sense of isolation. I would love to help. Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker who practiced in a college counseling setting for over 4 years and I have 15 years of counseling experience total. I continue to work with college students in my private practice and I enjoy working with people to better manage anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, grief, life transitions, relationship, concerns, and general stress. My practice is body positive and LGBTQ+, immigrant, and international student supportive and affirming. I aim to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for processing fears, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. I use various types of therapy, including ACT, CBT, DBT skills, somatic therapy, schema therapy, ERPT, narrative therapy, and person centered therapy, but I tailor sessions to what works best for you. I also welcome your feedback in the process. I strongly encourage coming to therapy in the way that you are most comfortable - meaning, swear if you feel the need, don't apologize for eating in sessions if you are hungry, show up in your pajamas - whatever. As long as you are safe and comfortable and you are able to talk privately, I support it. I offer a free 15 minute consultation call to see if we are a good fit, because having a therapist you trust and match with is paramount. I offer virtual telehealth sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I offer in person sessions in Kingwood, Texas on Wednesdays. Please feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to connect and I wish you the best in your therapist search!

At Cura Meadows, I specialize in helping college students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of their next steps. Some are navigating family expectations or healing from past trauma, while others just need support in managing the pressures of college life. I offer therapy and medication management in a space where you can process what you’re going through and find real solutions. You're the one everyone counts on. You show up, you achieve, you hold it together — and somewhere underneath, you're exhausted and not sure why nothing feels like enough. Maybe you grew up translating for your parents, managing everyone's emotions, or learning early that needing things was inconvenient. Maybe you've never called any of that trauma, because it just felt like life. I work with high-achieving adults, adult children of immigrants, and couples who are tired of functioning well and feeling terrible. Together we get underneath the coping — the overworking, the people-pleasing, the hyper-independence — and into what your nervous system has been carrying all along. My approach is warm and direct. I'll reflect back what I notice, ask the harder question, and hold space for the parts of your story that don't have easy language yet. I use Brainspotting and EMDR alongside talk therapy, because some things live in the body and can't be reasoned through. I'm Surabhi Jagdish, LMFT-S, with over 12 years of experience. I see clients virtually across Minnesota, Texas, and Colorado.
My ideal client is someone who has experienced acute mental health challenges, or may be new in their therapeutic journey altogether, and is ready to move toward stability and growth. They may struggle with severe mood disorders, trauma, substance use, or daily life struggles, and feel discouraged by systems which have not met their needs. They want to understand themselves and their challenges better, build skills to improve self-sufficiency, and create a meaningful, prosperous life with sustainable supports in the community. I specialize in trauma-informed, ethical, and client-centered care grounded in inpatient mental health experience. I help clients develop insight, accountability, and practical skills to manage symptoms, strengthen resiliency, and transition successfully into community sustained living while prioritizing safety, dignity, and long-term stabilization. You do not have to navigate your healing journey alone. If you are ready to move forward and build hope for your future, I invite you to take the next step. Together, we can create a supportive, realistic path towards growth, empowerment, and lasting change.
College brings a lot of change — newfound independence, heavy course loads, and big life decisions that come with new relationships. My desire is to provide a warm, down-to-earth space where college students can talk through the challenges of becoming more independent, manage academic stress, and figure out next steps after committing to a partner. Together we’ll build practical skills, set realistic goals, and find choices that feel true to you. If you need support navigating this stage, I’m here to help.
While working in healthcare for the past 25 years, I have experienced the value of human connection between caregiver and patient in various roles and settings. Every individual I have provided care for has their own story, a unique set of experiences that has shaped them. Understanding these individual differences helps establish individual plans of care. Upon establishing a therapeutic relationship with my clients, I strive to learn their stories and help them overcome their struggles. I aim to help clients find meaning and purpose, improve their quality of life, and achieve contentment. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I can prescribe medications and provide talk therapy to help treat psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, mood disorders, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, PTSD, sleep disorders, and psychotic disorders. I have named my clinic after “eudaimonia,” which means ‘good spirit’ and is translated from Greek simply as ‘happiness.’ Eudaimonia is described as the condition of human flourishing, and this philosophy of finding meaning and purpose guides the care provided at Eudaimonia Psychiatric Mental Health Clinic.
