I’ll create a supportive environment for you to explore your concerns and agree on a path forward in our work together. If you think we might be a good fit, please reach out today. I am part of the Path referral network, which means that when you reach out, my team will get back to you quickly to schedule our first session. I am committed to making therapy affordable. I specialize in working with young and emerging adults (people in their 20s and 30s), as well as teens and their families. My passion lies in helping young people navigate life’s transitional phases. Many of my clients are working through anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, difficulty with focus or organization, or stress related to school and work. Others are making big life or career decisions, processing trauma or loss, working through painful childhoods, or exploring identity—whether around race, class, gender, or being part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. As a former foster parent and current adoptive parent, I bring a personal and informed perspective to the complexities of non-traditional and non-biologically based families. I also have a particular focus on supporting individuals who’ve experienced difficult or traumatic childhoods. This includes—but isn’t limited to—survivors of childhood physical, sexual, or emotional abuse; those who grew up with parents struggling with mental health or substance use; people who were bullied; individuals who spent time in foster care; and anyone who faced significant instability or stress during their early years. Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you recognize your own strength, build tools that work for your life, and create space for insight, growth—and yes, even laughter. Whether it’s your first time in therapy or you’re giving it another try, I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward. Let’s figure it out—together.

Are you highly attuned to others, having been told you're "too sensitive"? Do you struggle with setting boundaries, people-pleasing or burning out from perfectionism and a constantly full calendar? It can be exhausting to balance the weight of being highly sensitive while also meeting the standards set by us, our families, and communities. These behaviors are often connected to earlier relationships, such as family dynamics that can shape how we interact with others later in life. Therapy is a space to help you explore how past relationships shape your present, empowering you to respond to stress in ways that honor your needs. I'm an LCSW with 7+ years of experience working with members of the queer community, neurodiverse individuals, and those managing chronic mental health and medical conditions. I’ve spent my career supporting individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and complex family dynamics. We'll collaborate together to identify and work towards goals that will help you take ownership over your life and build the reality you want to see. Whether it's setting boundaries with parents, letting go of perfectionism, or beginning a challenging career endeavor- I’m here to listen and support you with warmth, curiosity, silliness, and honesty. I'm a queer, Jewish therapist who has experience working with queer Jewish community ranging from those who identify as secular to Orthodox. Navigating queerness from a religious framework has its own unique challenges. Regardless of your background, we'll work together to explore your identity and how that interacts with the world around you.

Hi All! My name is Cari and not so long ago I was a college student..... or at least it feels that way. Looking back I can say I learned a lot in the classroom but more importantly I learned about myself. Mental Health is a issues that has always been swept under the rug. The most significant onset for mental health issues are 18 and onward. This places many college student in a place where they may feel isolated, alone and have no idea what is" wrong" with them. My practice not only focuses on mental health issues but also on substance use, the "hook up" culture, adjustment to college life and many more pertinent struggles young people face today . I did not just gain my experience as a therapist listening to a client on a couch. Much of my work was community based , in very high need neighborhoods in the NYC area. From working in homeless shelters, foster care, and substance use programs, the experience gained was invaluable . I offer more then just a set of listening empathetic ears but an approach to help you rationalize your thoughts and experiences .
